Fair point about the bottom. I’m certainly hoping RU surprises and rises up from the bottom, but that may be wishful thinking. I think PSU and OSU may end up being pretty good, but the Huskers look bad and so does IU, but with a new coach they may improve a lot by mid season.

After OSU’s rout at the hands of Gonzaga last night, you can probably add them to the bad teams in the Big10.

I don't think the Big East is down. I actually think it's a real good very balanced conference. The Big 10 is down and is not impressing me to date - though granted season is still early. We'll see how Big 10 does in ACC Challenge.

You may have to think again. ;) Xavier got smoked by unranked ASU tonight.

SHU will be fine.....they played a very good NCAA team that is similar in talent. No shame in that loss for them

They did not. They played a much worse URI team than last year without one of the best players in the history of URI.

If Doorson covers DelGado he'll score 50 with 10 3's. DelGado is a great player. Doorson could never step out and cover him. We really don't have a good match up for him - no one does, that's what makes him so good.

If Delgado is shooting 3s I’d like your chances.

Much worse is probably hyperbole. They are favored to win the A10. But they were missing their best player so hats off to them and their coach. I think the Hall/RU game will be very good. You know your coach will have them up for this game. Remains to be seen on our end.

Seton Hall always plays street ball.

They will not reach there potential like that.

I was factoring in no EC Matthews in the "much worse" but they're certainly not the team they were last year anyway. It was not a game you guys should have lost from a talent perspective. Obviously everyone loses games they shouldn't in college basketball, though, and it's not like URI is a bad team.

I wouldnt say they were bad...they did rebound to beat Stanford....I think there are alot of mediocre teams in the 2nd half of the league, RU included, the only true bad team is Nebraska
