You don’t know that. They may, they may not. Have any of the kids shown symptoms?

Good Lord what Rock have you been hiding under. From local, reports they were all held out initially because of symptoms. Symptoms do not matter when it comes to transmission.

I wish you would stay under your damn rock. I just watched a girls softball game in person and it was great.

Lots of cases of Carona on the Redneck Riviera this summer... didn’t stop educators from going there.

I think most people's decision-making process would change no symptoms vs symptoms. I wouldn't go visit my parents if I or my kids have a sniffle, for example. Symptoms definitely matter

South Korean scientists analyzed samples taken from 303 people isolated at a community treatment center who had tested positive for the coronavirus between March 6 and 26.

Of the 303, 193 were symptomatic when they were isolated and 110 were asymptomatic, and researchers found that the viral loads (the amount of virus in an infected person) were very similar in both types of patients.

South Korean scientists acknowledge the study contains significant limitations. First and foremost, the participants were mostly young, with a median age of just 25. The study also mentions that only testing people who have symptoms could result in "substantial underreporting of infected patients." Despite the presence of similar viral loads, Cowling told the New York Times that because asymptomatic people do not frequently cough or sneeze, they may be "less efficient at expelling the virus than those who are clearly unwell." Conversely, Marta Gaglia, a virologist at Tufts University in Massachusetts, said individuals who feel ill often remain inside, resting in bed, "whereas the infected but unaware may carry on with their business, sickening others along the way."

The internet strategy

Seek help, please. You're making soy boys look masculine

Ah yes, the strategy of hurling juvenile insults as opposed to a counterpoint with substance!

Well done.

It's hard to take anyone using the phrase soy boy as being serious. Communities are losing people each day. We've had board members lose friends and share concerns of family members. Sending our youth to school and the results are something we are all curious about. A rebuttal/counterpoint is one thing. A juvenile insult is another. But yeah, go internet tough guy masculinity!

It’s a virus, a large percentage of the population is going to be exposed to it before it burns out. The best you can do if you are at high risk is stay locked up at home or go on living while trying to stay safe. If you are not at high risk, you need to resume some form of normalcy... back to work and school while following protocols.

I think you forgot your sarcasterisks.

Symptoms have zero to do with your ability to spread the virus. If you have it, you have a chance of spreading it... whether you're deathly ill or going about your normal life. Is that difficult to understand?

Now, if you want to get into discussions on mortality rate and long term effects, sure symptoms are a part of that conversation.

So if you tested positive, you would go visit an elderly or compromised person as long as you didn't have symptoms?
