Upcoming dual for OSU

Here's the lineup comparison for the dual with South Dakota State on the 16th:

I am going to guess some and predict the starting lineup will be as follows:

125 Austin Miller
133 Brian Crutchmer
141 Davey Dolan
149 Josh Kindig
157 Keilan Torres
165 Alex Dierenger
174 Jordan Rogers
184 Nolan Boyd
197 Austin Schafer
285 Austin Marsden

At 157 I do not think Collica will redshirt and he may be the starter but early on I am just guessing that John will go with Torres to preserve some options if everything were to click for Marsteller. At this point unless there is a sudden change Collica will be the starter. John will not redshirt him if he continues to dominate the weight.

At 133 I think you will see Crutchmer and again to preserve options as he has already redshirted and Harding is a freshman. I think Heil if he can pull to this weight and not lose stamina will be the starter but that is still up in the air.
I believe Magaldo even though he won this weight in ranking will redshirt to get stronger and used to wrestling at 141 and therefore I think it will be Dolan again subject to his being successful in pulling the weight consistently.

I do think at this point 125 with Miller,149 with Kindig, and the line up from 165 through heavyweight will be the starters.
If Eddie rounds back into shape after a layoff he will probably be the starter after the first of the year at 125.

All of the above is just speculation on my part and subject to several variables. None of this speculation came about due to any contact with any coach.

I feel John will put Heil in at 133 so he can get use to the weight. If you don't throw him out there under dual conditions you will never know how he will react.. He may have lost but he is by far the better wrestler in the room when he isn't cutting some weight. He needs to prove he can be the man.



157 against SDSU #18 Cody Pack will be a big test and whomever goes and wins will be in the top 20.

Yeah you are probably right about Heil. He needs as much time as possible at the weight.
