No. Stupid question. Hall of fame coach. Would cost many many millions to can him due to a lifetime contract. He hasn’t violated his contract. Has few detractors except some Internet lunatics that have demonstrated profound illiteracy on basketball matters. Strongly supported by his own management. Gotta be pretty stupid to jump that ship

😂 Who are we going to get that's better AND a proven recruiter/winner(more than a season or two) AND willing to come here and deal with fans like yourself?

Also it would be a rebuild(goodbye recruits) that our fans wouldn't have the patience for.

No, he has at least this year and probably 2 more years after. Class next year + likelihood of Wagner/Shep and others in '23-'24, can't jeopardize that and shouldn't. Has a staff now...

A bad season this year and even I will become critical though.

Seriously, does His Highness need to go? NO! But seriously people, you do this to yourselves EVERY DAMN YEAR!!! LOOK AT THESE STUD RECRUITS CAL HAS COMING IN NEXT YEAR!!!

Why not focus on this year? This bunch were the STUDS so many people yakked about LAST YEAR. Why not focus on THIS SEASON? DAMN! WASH RINSE AND REPEAT!

After last season? Yes.

But at this moment? No. There’s still time for O, Chin, and Flint to coach this group up. Plus, loaded class next year.

So we’ll see. But that “lifetime” contract will close to up by the end of next season so let’s touch base then.

This is where I’m at as well. But, dammit, Cal
has to start making good, strategic in game adjustments. There’s zero doubt we should’ve at least played half our defensive possessions in a zone last night. We should’ve also pressed them from tip to horn.

i didn’t freak about kneeling, I am not a COVID denier, and I don’t rant about all of post 2015. That said I am tired of rationalizing early season losses, early exits from the tournament, and most of all I am tired of being told to relax when we are getting our *** handed to us by good teams, bad teams, rivals, mid tier sec teams, etc. I don’t want to hear about the proceess. I want to watch half decent execution and I want freakin Ws.

okay end rant.

Not yet but man it’d be nice to win a big game again. Been awhile. I think this teams loses 9 games in the regular season. 4-5 seed. Let’s see what happens when this class arrives on campus next summer.

So most people say no, let's see how this year goes. After the cupcake OOC schedule remaining, it gets tougher in the SEC. 6 other SEC teams are in the Top 25 (and others receiving votes). We might just get blasted by Tenneesee, Arkansas, Alabama, Auburn and Miss. State. Louisville might hang another L on this team.

Cool. As long as we get to remember all of the people that gave up after the first the game and jump back on the bandwagon when they figure it out.

Lifetime Contract. No. Let's give it some time. Big O is back and recruiting is already better. Who the hell you gonna replace him with? He has his downfalls, but he's the best for the job right now.

Lot of people still can’t get over last year worse record in 100 years then loose first game this year
