I'd be mighty suprised if Beamer is still head coach in next 24 hours. Mighty suprised!
I thought he should have been cut loose after last week. On a positive note, he’s got Florida next week and they don’t look nearly as good as everyone thought they were.
We have to have the opening NOW to start getting interest from candidates. If we wait until December, the back channel talks among agents will be delayed badly, rhe portal unofficial interest/visits wont happen bc we will not have a coach.
Beamer is a great man but this just has to happen now

Waiting until December or Jan.... will only make the pain that much worse in the next 2 seasons.
So, knowing that, and knowing everyone in the universe knows that..... I fully expect our *IDIOT* administration to wait until Dec, Jan. It's the Gamecock way. If there's a cluster *__ck way to do things, our administration will do it precisely that way. Nothing is going to change until the money stops.

Two rough losses at home.
The play calling / risk taking that served this staff so well thru 2024 has just vanished.
The team is not playing that poorly. The play calling at critical junctures has just been super lame.
For example, there is absolutely no reason why we shouldn't have taken the easy field goal but instead for it on that 4th and 3 with a DOA playcall.
I don't see them doing anything until the end of the season but the pot is definitely getting warmer.
You can't continue to lose games of this nature.

Give the name of a good coach who will commit to coming to us mid season. The AD can start looking before he fires Beamer. Quality portal players aren't jumping onto a struggling program.
I would get tired of the athletic department calling me every 5 years asking me to donate buyout money. Wheeler and Rice are gone. You think their wives are gonna donate their hard earned, aahem, money?
Sigh....... but will also cost us $6 million in lost revenue from sales, excitement, the "hope" of the future, etc.....
The right move is to fire him now. Tonight. Preferably before he has a chance to get in front of a microphone and go through his same BS that he says every week.
I think the fanbase is officially done with Beamer. They were chanting "Fire Beamer" throughout a game, and he just got booed straight off the field after this game.

Thanks to that dope Ray Tanner we cannot fire Beamer. Two more years and Tanner will be here making $1 million a year laughing at us all and asking for more donations for the Athletic Dept.
Can we really hide behind the buy-out anymore? It's bad, real bad. . Think the team quits and gives us no choice.
They should put it on Tanner to do the firing. He hired him, he should fire him.
We can fire him and pay him 5.5 million for 5 years. At least I heard from a reputable source that is the way the contract is structured.
Worst AD in our history - even worse that King Dixon - who had the decency to retire after he botched the basketball hire.
They should put a fundraising aunction together and sell the right to fire Beamer to the highest bidder. Raise money for the buyout and give some wealthy donor a little pleasure.

It's bad we're not winning the games but the play is not terrrible. White has been a very good DC as a whole and I think the guys are trying but they just aren't quite there yet.
This was another game just like MSU where we had more yardage, but just didn't execute in key moments largely because of poor critical play calling. And we lost the turnover battle 2-0.
Very little distance between MSU, UK, Missouri, Vandy, A&M, Auburn, Oklahoma, ARK and us.
He's probably busy on the phone to see if he can get the money for it.I expect it will be tomorrow
