Unrealistic goals

I disagree that getting 6 wins to become bowl eligible is a realistic goal, whether it comes from Moos, coaches, players, or experts; this team hasn't earned the right to a bowl game, even with 6 wins. The defensive line was supposed to be our strength, but they continually get pushed around. Our offensive line is young, which is no excuse, but to not show any improvement after 6 games is embarassing. I don't know how much I can watch this year, my enthusiasm is gone

Minnesota beat us running the most basic offense they possibly could . They played safe and were up 34-0.

our team needs a lobotomy. Maybe our coaches do too. Most of us are sick of seeing this **** week after week. This is one of the worst teams in the conference. Let that sink in

How many people would be upset if at the start of the season the media and so called experts said Nebraska would win 6 games?

Need the extra practices and the extra time to figure out who is going to do it and who needs to go. Coaches on down.

Our goals should be smaller at this point like getting on the board or forcing a punt or converting a 3rd and long. Making a bowl game is too high of an expectation.

Getting to a bowl game should be the minimal expectations for this year. We were ranked to begin the season. Everyone was drinking the koolaid. Fans, media, coaches, etc.

Bowl game can still be achieve. Getting blown out by a has been program (that we blew out last year) is not good, though.

A lot of former players that went to watch practice were telling everyone to pump the brakes. We should listen to them and not what the pundits say

I keep harping on the oline.. i really think thisnis the biggest group of pansies ive ever seen in husker uniforms.. none of them finish blocks.. hell i dont see them engage many of their blocks even.. most of the time they wait for the defense to meet them.. how the hell can you get any push if your defensively blocking? I played oline its unreal

Well, a lot of the former players couldn't have possibly predicted the injuries like we have had. You're telling me that before the season, the former players didn't even see this team making a bowl game?

D-line isn’t playing well, but asking 3 guys to beat 5 OL is a bit much, we need to fill more aggressively at MLB and the OLB are awful at setting and holding the edge.

I don't care about goals. I just want to see good football. I haven't seen it for a long time, have you?

Edit: I did see it tonight, but it was by the opponent. Fleck so far proving to be a far superior coach to Frost.

Did Fleck look better in year 2 (last year) giving up 50+ in Lincoln?
