That’s fine. You are entitled to that opinion. I have formed a different one on him and I expressed it largely to defend Fitz not to criticize Frost. Comparing Fitz to Frost is a great disservice to Fitz.
No question I would rather have Fitz than Frost!

How is that Larussa has no chance prediction coming Mr. Insider? Or how about the Tommy Rees has no chance of becoming offensive Coordinator at ND or NU? Perhaps you should consider that you are not the only one that has insights and opinions. I don’t need to know Frost to reach that conclusion. I’ve seen him interviewed plenty of times, i’ve watched how he handles his team and how he recruits and I also know people in the recruiting business that have first hand experience with him. Like many college coaches, Frost treats his players and recruits like they are a means to HIS desired end. That makes him nothing like Fitz, a guy who cares deeply about the well being of his players before, during and after their time at NU regardless of how much success any of those players have on the field.

I was as shocked as anyone when the La Russa news first broke from Nightengale and made a few knee jerk statements that I had to walk back after I spoke with people in the proceeding days and weeks for sure. But your comment on Frost isn't knee jerk. It is sheer conjecture you're passing off as fact.

And I know I'm not the only one with insight or opinion on these boards. I have the ability to separate sheer 100% conjecture from statement of fact. You blend the two together and again, it rubs people the wrong way. I'm not the first person to call you out on this, and I won't be the last

Frost is nothing like Fitz. Frost is an arrogant, entitled prick who only “cares” about his players as long as they can help him win. He uses them and his players know it too. That’s not Fitz.
You don't know crap. I'll bet you didn't know that Frost became a foster Dad to a troubled teen aged boy while he was an assistant coach at Oregon. Typically arrogant, selfish people don't get involved in the foster system, but I know that you could care less about this because it doesn't fit your agenda.

Honestly, I think you have a reading comprehension problem. How in the world can anyone interpret the statement “scott Frost is an entitled jerk” as a statement of fact? How does one definitively, factually prove that statement “ this person is an entitled jerk”? You can’t because it’s not a statement of fact, it’s an OPINION. It’s an opinion I formed based on observation and opinions provided by others i trust, but an opinion nonetheless. That’s obviously implied in statements of this type but it appears I shouldn’t assume that with readers like you out on this board.

I know it's an opinion, but you leave zero ambiguity in it. "Scott Frost is an entitled jerk" - the verb "is" is, in fact, a statement of fact.

If you said "I think Scott Frost might be an entitled jerk" I wouldn't have said ****, but you always speak with such definition and in such a know-it-all, authoritative way. Again, I'm not the first one to say this to you, and I'm sure I won't be the last

So any statement that contains the verb “is” is a statement of fact rather than opinion? Seriously? You sound like Bill Clinton while he was being deposed.

The Huskers vs NW games have always been dog fights and it won’t be any different this year. Anyone who truly thinks either team will blow out the other is kidding themselves. It will come down to final possession and more then likely who’s got the ball last towards the final minutes of the game.

This year NW finally has a solid QB and this will help NW keep up with the Huskers. But NW is going to struggle to run against a improved Husker run defense (look how the Huskers handled Justin Fields and those talented RBs at OSU). It’s going to come down to which QBs can make the most plays. P Ramsey or Adrian Martinez/Luke McCaffrey RPO? Since the Huskers have the edge on play makers (Wan’dale Robinson, D Mills and so on) and the better Oline....I feel the Huskers win a close one....

OSU beat them 52-17. I think our D is the equal of any team if the O supports with respectable play and ball control. If Peyton lights things up in the first half against the depleted UN secondary NU gets off to a good start and then grinds it out in the second half.

close, your guys run defense is as good as anyone else in the BIG 10. But your secondary isn’t anywhere near OSUs, PSUs or Wisconsin’s level. You guys will no doubt have another top 25 defense but it won’t be anywhere near a top 10 defense (like those teams above will have). Your secondary is your defenses only true weakness, if you even want to call it a weakness.

But yes, the final score for the Huskers vs OSU game was 52-17, correct. Don’t mistake it, OSU would blow out your NW Wildcats too. So using the OSUs game as an example isn’t a good one. There isn’t a team in the BIG 10 that can hang with those guys.

Now, back to the point, anyone who watched the game would tell you the game was closer then the final score indicated. The score should have been 45-21 for starters. The Huskers had a TD pass go through the hands of a WR that makes the same exact catch 9 out of 10 times and OSU scored another TD in the final 19 seconds that even OSUs head coach Ryan Day said shouldn’t have happened. The QB was supposed to run the clock out instead. Not to mention the score was 17-14 with a few minutes left before half time. Merely making a point.....

Thank you Ryan Day for tacking on the TD. Won me cash on the over.

"Scott Frost is an entitled jerk" is 100% a statement of fact. You even conceded to Lunker or w/e his name is in another thread a few days ago when he called you out for a similar statement. I don't know how to put it any easier for you

Wow, I really don’t know what to say. So according to you every time one expresses an opinion the sentence should start with the qualifier, “in my opinion”? Do you understand that the qualifier is implied? Time to move on. If you don’t like how I express my opinion, just don’t read them.

Who is this NW that Northwestern University will beat? We're playing UNL this weekend.

This one is really hard to predict. Nebraska looked decent for the first half against OSU, but they have only played one game, so it's hard to get a good feel for how they are this year.

In the end, I have a lot of trust in our defense, especially in limiting their run game.

My prediction was off by 4 points total - I think I had the closest prediction this week!

I was off on my prediction of how our run defense would do, unfortunately. We could not stop Martinez and McCaffrey on their designed QB runs or scrambles. Had we done a better job on that, I think the margin of victory would have been much wider.
