I was hoping for orange vs purple. That would be cool.Not sure if this has been posted. Going with all white (Nebraska game) unis.

White makes sense since it will likely be a sunny day. If the game were at night I would have preferred the gothic.
Call me old school, gold is not of NU's color scheme.
Agree with the white jerseys, as the Florida sun can create additional heat in dark jerseys. Hope it's the purple helmets.

We wore the Smokey Grey helmets this season. To my knowledge, that is the first time in school history we have worn something other than white helmets.
In all likelihood we will wear orange jersey, white helmet, white pants in the Outback Bowl.
My personal favorite uniforms are all-white. Very clean look IMO. Really like the NU all whites pictured above...

Helmets not shown in tweet, so who knows? Tweet claims same unis as Nebraska game.
Good looking uni. I'd like to see what it would look like without the stripe across the chest.

I was also hoping for the Gothic uniforms, but all-white is fine too. I'm not a fan of the cat-head helmet- I don't think the logo is strong enough to stand on its own- so hopefully they go with the white helmet/purple 'N'.
Back in the days of leather helmets...UT actually wore orange leather helmets with a white cross along the top seams.
That's something you probably won't see. Every uni outside of our special theme unis like the gothic look (below) will contain the Northwestern stripe. Under Armour designed it and it's unlikely we'll deviate without a complete redesign. NU fans generally like it a lot. Myself included. RE: "Gothic" unis that have been discussed - every element relates to NU and the campus.

Dang.... Those are sweet.
Those are unique uniforms. Much like what football uniforms would look like at Hogwarts.
Several others felt the same way. They still fit the school well...and look pretty good on the field.
I'm not much of a uniform critic so the white jersey seems fine. I do remember the last time we played the Vols, Nu wore black jerseys on a 90+ degree day. D. Autry was sick and a lot of other guys were having trouble with the heat that day and Barnett said afterwards that he regretted the choice of black jerseys, since NU had the option of wearing white.
