That would be very interesting because he was past the LOS on his route where the WR pick occurred, but you're right, he came back in behind the LOS when catching the ball.
If that's not a penalty then we need to run more WR pick plays in that fashion.
Yeah, and a lot of people said he's only a deep ball passer and would struggle with short and intermediate routes. Wrong.
That’s a really dumb thing to think because he’s been almost overly conservative with not taking deep shots.
I was at both games this season and there were multiple times were the deep ball was there and he threw it underneath. That is not a criticism, I have no idea what the progression is or anything like that. But I’ve seen multiple times where we hit a crosser underneath while having someone available deep.
He’s much more than just a deep threat passer.
Dylan's lucky he didn't get cracked from behind on this play. Corcoran initially is gonna help our LG, then the DE runs right past Corcoran and is only a millisecond late in getting to Dylan.
The thing is, anyone that said that didn’t really watch much (or any) of his highlights and/or game film. It jumped right out to me, like most people, that the kid has a cannon for an arm. Makes long throws look almost effortless. Next thing I noticed was his touch and accuracy on short and intermediate passes. Really rare to have those sort of skills plus natural arm talent in a 19 year old.

UNI is really big on offense. I still don't think they have the athleticism to do much against our defense.
Quarters defense will probably limit big plays, but as accurate as Dylan is he can throw 5 yard passes all day long.
Dude got lit up right as he threw. Credit him for standing in pocket and getting ball to spot only Lloyd was getting to.
