My only few nag's with this episode is:

Jon & Dany =fan-service.. not needed

Bran has only ONE epic flash back this season? Why the 17 are we focusing on a sister cat fight when we could tune in to the bran channel and really REALLY drop bombs from the past..

Other than those two, the episode was GREAT. Props to Jamie and Theon as well.

My complaint is you have tons of story to tell with 6 episodes. I thought they'd wrap up Kings Landing or Winter this season

It really looks like D&D know they cut out to many story lines and lost so much potential plots (Jon Connington/Aegon, Dorne Master Plan, Victarion Greyjoy, etc) and are just trying to speed up the ending process.

Hate to tell you... it's gonna be more like 18 months. They haven't even started filming S8 yet. No mo GoT til 2019.

Yeah, episodes will be 80-90 minutes long. But most likely not till 2019.

I've been following their production schedules since season 5, and they always start filming a month or so after the season ends. The problem now being that they pushed it all the way to the edge of NFL season this year and I doubt they ever go head to head with SNF. And they want to focus basically all of the filming this year in winter. So I think you are probably right. They are probably going to push it to March or April 2019 given the amount of post-production I must assume this final season will have. Hope I'm wrong and they get it done in July of next year.
