There was a rumor a couple of days ago that the Lakers made him a promise at 28.

The big thing in this though is that Roy blessed his decision and told him to go because it was a smart move. I just wish Cal would stop being selfish and forcing kids out and do it like Roy![eyeroll]

I think Cal only forces them out if they are lottery picks. I got the impression Cal would have welcomed Bam back if he wasn't projected in the lottery (and of course didn't get an agent). Diallo is another that Cal has not "forced out".

That is huge, that kid can really play. Gonna be a great pro in the mold of TT of the Cavs.

Top 10 worthy back-court, and their front-court is now probably the thinnest it's been under Ol' Roy.

Poor UNC. [smoke]

NCAA will probably give them a one year post-season ban since they have zero chance next season.
Honestly, this could possibly be what happens. Emmert will look at their sh*t roster and figure this is the time to "hit" them. In reality, like you said, they have no chance at making real noise next year in the tournament.

I think this very well may be what happens.

Great decision. He's going to be a tremendous offensive rebounder and shot blocker. I like his game. Would be thrilled if he fell to the Lakers at the end of round 1.

This is who UNCheat will have next season taller than 6'6"

Luke Maye 6'8"
Brandon Huffman 6'9" (3 star)
Sterling Manley 6'10" (3 star)
Garrison Brooks 6'10" (4 star)

They are going to get eaten alive inside.

That looks like a Tubby roster during his last few years here. Not impressed at all lol.

It's going to be awesome to watch Duke smoke the Heels both times this season.

The Cheats are NIT-bound!

Now would be a good time for UNCheat to take their "punishment" if they get any. Heck, if I were Roy I would announce before the season that we would sit out the Tourney because he knows they are going nowhere anyway. But then again that may show guilt on his part and that ain't gonna happen. So, I forsee a lot of back problems for Roy this year.

Especially when you consider they won on bully ball inside on the offensive glass and Jackson's star power.

It's not like they have much on the wings either. Pinson is okay, I suppose.
