I am really ready to see Ole Honest Roy and the Rat Face Bastard at Dook get out of coaching . I really think though Rat Face will announce before the start of the year he plans to retire. So it can be a season long worship by ESPN, and a gifted NCAA title just like Wooden . Just like Wooden you will find out for sure just how much of a cheat Rat Face has been.

I don't think either of them (barring major health problems) are going anywhere for another 4-5 years.

You can guarantee he will make it know first so the NCAA will give him a nice going away present.

In five years K will be 78 (in a month). If he is still "coaching" it'll be as a figure-head of the program with surrogates handling all the difficult work. He's already had health problems, and very few people maintain the stamina to work hard into their late 70s. As for Roy, in five years he'll be nearly 75. But he already looks a decade older than K.

I think it is more likely both of them will be gone in three years - maybe sooner.

I hope you are correct. I am really curious to see what both programs look like with them gone. It just seems like neither of them are ready to walk away anytime soon.

Will ESPN launch the Coach K network when he retires? I mean they could show non stop games of him berating officials until they call it like he wants.

Cole had been playing very good for them. Doesn't seem overrated to me. His dad kinda bad mouthed Cal for some reason. I could see him packing it in to get ready for the draft.

Color me confused, in his 9 games he has:

  • More turnovers than assists
  • 36.8% shooting
  • 35.4% from 3
  • 68% from FT
  • 1.9 steals per game
He gets a good number of rebounds per game, has a great motor and athleticism, and he had a lot of points (on a whole lot of shots), but actual accomplishments (number-wise) are pretty mediocre this year. Maybe his numbers have some to do with his teammates but still relatively unimpressive.

I believe Clemson comes to the Dean Dome this weekent. They are 0 for 1,000 there. I think they finally win one. If not now, it will never happen.

If UNC*** loses this one, they're done. The NIT might not even be an option.

I think he is shooting 39.5 on his threes. Will be interesting to see how high or low he goes in draft. His dad has a problem with Cal. Wonder what he thinks about ole roy. Might of promised him a lot of playing time?

39.5 is his home 3 Pt% it is the first stat line that comes up if you look at stats on ESPN. Not sure why ESPN shows that home game stats line first.

The 8-20 season the same thing was said. I hate to say it, but Clemson can find a way to screw it up.

Kentucky has 2,304 wins. That’s 18 more than Kansas and 35 more than UNC-CHeats.

The day Cal was hired, the CHeaters were FOUR games back. They had just won the title (by cheating) while Kentucky was coming off the NIT. They were sure it was just a matter of time.

What I remember very clearly is that there was a thread pinned to the top of their board, Insidecarolina, where people were predicting the exact day they would pass UK and become #1. They were sure it was coming before Christmas - and they’d be first to 2,000.

I guess it takes more than an entire fake department that lets you cheat for decades.

By the way - the NCAA needs to do the right thing with the Jailhawks after this year and over the next couple the Cats should bury another cheating program.
Thanks! I didn't realize those Jailbirds were that close. Surely they get games taken away at some point. When you think about it through good years and bad years, good coaches and bad coaches it's pretty impressive that we have not surrendered Most Wins Alltime.

one idiot arguing that going .500 in ACC will get them in... the ****kk. HELL NOOOO...
That would be iffy if the ACC was good. Hell, the ACC is horrible this year. If you go .500 in that league this year you shouldn't even sniff the last 4 in conversation. The ACC only has a few teams that can give them a Quad 1 win. Their NIT bound. They are 1-4 in Quad 1 and I don't see them adding any, but say they get 1 or 2. Still, that's only 2 or 3. They have only beaten 1 good team and lost to a bunch of bad ones. It's over.

Not really. Their conference schedule was front loaded with three straight “easy” home games - Ga Tech, Pitt, Clemson. Again, all home. They’ve already lost two of those. So they have to go 9-7 the rest of the way, with nine road games, just to be .500 in the conference and 17-14 overall- that’s to make the NIT. To make the NCAA they probably have to go at least 10-6 the rest of the way and win a couple conference tourney games. With Duke (twice) Virginia, at Louisville, at Florida State, at Pitt at Va Tech on the schedule, I’m not seeing that.

UNC at Louisville. If there was ever a game where I wish both teams could lose by twenty, this is it.

Except Kentucky beat Louisville so a win by them is a win for UK, and also they will never, in 100 years, be a serious threat to Kentucky's legacy as greatest program while UNC has been at one time or another. The choice is clear.
Everything you're saying is rationale. From a logical perspective, I should want Louisville to win. However, I want Louisville to lose every game with the entire Cardinal program burning to a firery death under the heat of a million suns as a consequence for their blatant cheating and moral bankruptcy. I want the Cardinals crushed and driven before us as we listen to the mournful cries of their women. I look forward to gleefully dancing on Louisville's grave while drinking a tall glass of delicious Cardinal tears. In short, my hatred of Louisville defies any rationale thought that a Cardinal victory would be good in any circumstance.

I agree with the hatred for Louisville but I’d advise against coming into contact with any of their bodily fluids.
