Love and Davis were 9/28 from the field, 2/14 from 3. Bacot will always be solid for them inside, but Love and Davis are both players who are either hot or cold. Davis is more consistent than Love, but when they are both off, UNC is hopeless. If they are both on, they are extremely tough. One on, one off, depends on the degree to which Bacot dominates, but definitely makes them beatable. They feel much like the UCLA team last year that returned most of a Final 4 team. Wouldn’t shock me to see this team fall in the 2nd round/S16. One 3-17 clunker from Love and they’re probably toast.

Lots not lose sight of why Cal has to go. UNC was overrated, but Hubert is a greater coach than Cal.. No one realistically expects to win every game, even w/ the best coach. It's how we lose.
Cal isn’t going anywhere until the end of next season at the earliest. I’m ready for a change as well but am happy I get to see Reed and Wagner play.

NBA coach would appease me. Donovan, Casey, and Vogel all have UK ties. It worked out well for us in 1989.
