Not sure what to expect. Cheats looked good against Zags so that has most everyone running a bit scared.

But Zags played horribly early, jacking up and missing a bunch of 3s. They fell behind by double digits and the game was basically even the last 30 minutes.

Carolina did look strong on the boards and that could be problematic. Seventh Woods went off and that's not his norm.

If Cats shoot well they should be fine, else this is a loss. Just hard to predict these Cats. Biggest ongoing problem I see, is that UNC and most other teams are just quicker than UK at almost every position.

Yup Seventh woods was the difference in that game.

I watched the beginning of that game Rui Hachimora(however you spell it) missed a few lay ups and they seemed to lose focus after that.

Well I have seen little the last two years to prove you right. We can’t beat the bluebloods lately, that fact can’t be disputed.
I definitely get where you're coming from for sure. I just think the Cats come out with an abundance of energy and are really ready to play tomorrow. Cal will have a good gameplan and have them prepared. Just hoping we can hit some shots and we get a fair whistle. Last time we squared off with the Cheats we got absolutely hosed.

Actually, the students rarely show up, so they’re pretty boring themselves.

They’re too busy facebooking, taking selfies, or protesting Capitalism.

Lets make being at Rupp more fun for younger generations and then students would show up.

LOL I think you, and a lot of other people, are in for a surprise tomorrow. Unbelievable how weak minded some of our fans are (several of y'all are under investigation of even being real fans). Some of you act like we are some second rate program. Bunch of betas. Grow a pair.
No the pumpers think we are second rate trying to justify losses to the likes of Seton Hall, The rest of us are realist and for 3 years Cals teams have **** the bed 70% of the time against ranked opponents and with the exception of the Fox/Monk team 90% of the time we have lost against ranked teams.

Yes. I officially started early today. It’s the Holiday season. Actually, every Friday is Holiday season for me.

I’ve thought about quitting, but I’m not a quitter.

I had a dream last night about Kentucky playing North Carolina. In the game Kentucky scored late in a very low scoring game to take a 47-46 on a dunk with 14 seconds left then I woke up missing the ending...…...

Think we've had more than our fair share of moral victories these last few years. Remember the loss against Kansas last year when our players were chest thumping about losing a close game because "everyone said it would be a blowout?" Stuff makes me sick.
Me, too !

Line is down to -2 now. Sad that John Q. Public has more faith in UK than the “fans” On here

Lock of the day is Murray State +14.5. Auburn may mop the floor with them but I just don’t see it.

You know that doesn’t mean the public thinks we’ll win... just means they think UNC won’t beat us by 5 pts or more

It's at -2.5 right now on Bovada it looks like. I'll be honest, if I were going to bet on it I'd bet on the UNC. But they've been up and down as well. I really don't know what to expect. Neutral site game, this really feels like a game where the team can come together, punch the Heels in the mouth, and exorcise our collective demons from the Duke game. The fan base clearly needs it, but I think the team needs it even more. Show themselves "hey, we CAN do this thing."

I'm not touching it. Logic dictates if we play defense the way we have, it's not going to be fun. But who's to say this isn't the proverbial "light bulb" game. I don't want money getting in the way, need all my mindset and mojo to be on cheering on the Cats today.

I would venture to say that at least an equal part of the students at U.K. and other Kentucky colleges and universities are busy practicing, or learning how to most profitably practice, Capitalism - consistent with the self-centric practices of Facebooking and taking selfies.

Go 'Cats ! ! !

Bingo. And it also doesn't mean Vegas believes that is what the game will be. They set the lines where they think they can get even action bet on either side. It's amazing how many people don't understand this and cry about spreads. Obviously you get it, just pointing it out for others going on about the spread.

Getting back to the title of this thread . . .

As of about 12:00 Noon today, Eastern time, the spread was down to U.K. +2 on the internet betting site called "5 Dimes."

I posted the other day that it was 1.5 by my math. Not surprised it came down. Not that anyone knows what will happen. Just that the stats don’t put UNC** as 4.5 better than us.

Yes I understand that. Read the posts on here. So called “fans” just wanting to make it respectable , expecting a double digit loss. It’s sad when thats how you cheer for your team. We are UK, I never expect to lose by double digits in any game ever. That was the point I was making. People are betting us to cover so heavily the line has shifted 2.5 pts. We had posters predicting a 7-9 pt line which is absolutely absurd. It’s a sad state around here when people’s mindsets have them mentally rooting against the team they root for.

Roy plays one way ... high octane. Take good shots and get back on defense to stop their transition offense and Kentucky can walk away with a win. Take bad shots plays into their hands.

Pete Rose wouldn't bet this game.

I'm not sure about that! Pete spoke at our church last year, (Northeast Christian), and he was very good. He did not dodge any questions the Minister asked him, and they covered everything about his life, baseball, and gambling. I really enjoyed hearing him.
He should be in the "HALL OF FAME." How can you keep the best hitter in baseball out? It is not a "Hall of Shame."

Last wife said he is still gambling large amounts and has big debts including to the IRS. Did he talk about that?

No, he said he didn't gamble, now.. Said he started gambling with his Dad and a friend on the horses. Had some good stories to tell, which were funny. As I said in a previous post, he didn't dodge any questions. I just googled his net worth, and it is 3 to 4 million.
I'm still married to my first wife (58 years), but you know how ex wives sometimes talk about their ex.
