Perfect scenario for TV ratings. Have all the talking heads point out all the reasons they should be in. Win a game, maybe even two in the ACC tournament. Build suspense for Selection Sunday.

They’ll reveal UNC as one of the play-in games to boost ratings. If they win that game they’ll probably play UK in a 6-11 matchup.

UNC is certainly taking plenty of tough shots.

It just isn’t making them.

North Carolina is now rated dead last among all Power Six teams with a dreadful 25.6% shooting mark on guarded catch-and-shoot jumpers. That ranks 360th out of 363 Division I teams ahead of just Davidson, Rider and *checks notes* the Kangaroos of UMKC.

It could end up costing UNC a bid to the NCAA Tournament. - 247.

While we lost in the first round.

We were both preseason top 5 teams and both tanking when I posted this (February 14th).

Happy to say it looks like we have figured some things out and they haven't.
