UNC contender or pretender

seems that UNC is the new consensus best team in America. All my friends from NC are saying they are now the dominant team... I think they are a good deep team capable of a deep tournament run however....

The bottom of the ACC is pretty terrible, and they have played a fortunate schedule thus far, the last ranked opponent they played was UCLA and that was on Dec 19th or 20th and I don't think they have a currently ranked opponent scheduled until Louisville on Feb 1st or 2nd...

Duke may not even be ranked when they face them...

Are the Tar Heels that good, or are they benefitting from a good ACC draw and a weaker conference that usual?

unc is a contender but this year, no one will shock me if they lose and it won't shock me who wins the tourney. Even in a down year, I think a name wins the tourney. unc is capable.

Unfortunately NC has a very good chance to win the tournament. They should not be allowed to play in it this year or next year based on the cheating that went on there. Maybe the NCAA will surprise everyone and lower the boom before the season ends. They are the betting favorite now in Vegas and they should be. They have all the pieces with that starting line up. Meeks , Paige , Johnson and Jackson are excellent basketball players
and it will be tough to knock them out in the tournament.

Roy has done his usual routine of holding back guys that he has a stockpile of upper class talent. They have the best bigs in the game this year and capable guards. Unfortunately they are the favorite.
