Anything is possible but knowing his family my bet is he sticks with UNC.
Also, at this stage of the game, agents, scouts, and players are all on the same page about money - "how much would it take to get you to sign?" and "how much are you willing to offer me?" conversations are not the ones you want to have on draft day. Any players I've known or coached that had any draft talks had a great idea on what they'd be offered by most orgs by this point in the process, without fail. If he's moving into the dorm already, as a high school guy whose season has been over for a bit and so likely hasn't changed his stock/leverage much in the last month or so, I'd bet it's a pretty done deal. Weird things *do* happen, maybe some crosschecker or someone comes across his tape/metrics and falls in love enough to really up the offer. But I'd doubt it.

His options are still open, even if he takes summer school classes. He is probably in the middle of those talks and negotiations with orgs right now about draft position and his signing number. Best leverage he can have is taking classes and showing MLB teams he’s serious about enrolling. We’ll just have to wait and see how the draft goes to know if he’ll actually end up playing here. I’d bet if a team does draft him at this point, he will sign.

Would be nice because right now it’s looking a little bleak after Glauber for our starting rotation next year. I would like to see us get a proven pitcher at this level though for next season
Bleak? I disagree with that. Glauber & Rose is as good as any potential 1-2 punch in the ACC. I wouldn’t discount a senior year Boaz. Heck, maybe Lynch comes back for year 3

Jackson Rose should slot in at Saturday starter next year

I've been told there is a non-zero chance Ryan returns next year. Money and draft spot has not looked the way he hoped it would coming towards the end of the season. Could still change, lot of baseball left to play and one fantastic outing could change things. But I've heard that from a very close connection.

It could actually be a possibility because he is in the somewhat rare scenario of having 2 years of leverage in the draft

I’m not even going to think about a Jr year Ryan Lynch😂 him and Glauber as a 1-2 would be lethal

Jackson Rose looks exactly like a weekend starter, to me. Don't discount him. If Lynch returns -- HOOOAH ON DAT! -- Forbes may be in the unique situation of having THREE ACES.

Yea I am fully expecting Jackson Rose to take a substantial leap next year. Glauber, Lynch, Rose…

Can you imagine the $$$ being thrown or soon to be at Glauber? Can we counter to a decent degree? I know he is saying all the right things but don’t they all at this stage?

I’d honestly be dumbfounded if any of our guys that get meaningful PT decided to leave. That just doesn’t seem like the culture of the roster that Forbes has built here. In this era though I guess you can never know for sure.

Caden’s dad played 8 years of pro ball, 2 separate stints in the big leagues. Kid has a good head on his shoulders, along with a family that have been there and done it. Don’t see that kid leaving a situation where he’s apart of one of the best programs in the country, where he’d be all but guaranteed to be the Friday guy next year. All while knowing (barring major injury) will be a 1.1 type talent.

Sean Hurley is listed as a recruit for the 26 class on the recruiting board, but he enrolled early and has been on the team all season.

We have two supposedly stud HS recruits, plus 2 early enrollees who never pitched this year because of injuries. Throw in Olin Johnson, who I assume will return, plus Rose, and I'll wait and see how things look during fall ball before pushing the panic button.

Exactly. Glauber, Amos Rich and Sean Hurley were all early enrollees. I think I recall Coach Forbes early in the Season was going to give Rich an inning or two of work, but the run rule wiped it out. At some point he must have had some injury since he didn't come in the rest of the way. Hurley, I believe came in needing some repair so he redshirted I guess. Both of those guys have potential. I thought Jake Cackovic looked good in his few innings, and Andrew Wallen is back pitching this summer after arm surgery(someone posted that he has been up to 98). So I'm not pushing the panic button either.

Tampering is off the charts and not much can be done to stop it. You hope families are grounded in what UNC does with their sons and “trust the process”. But money offered is just sick.
all those SEC schools are involved.

as for UNC, I would like us to get a little more power and another lefty pitcher. With the eyes we have demonstrated for portal additions I trust the staff. Hope we can hold them together too.

I've seen mentions on Twitter, Reddit, etc. that LSU is trying hard to poach Glauber. Anyone here heard anything?
Yes and not from social media but from people sitting in the stands and close to the situation. I would be more surprised if they were not actually. Report was they had already contacted the family.

I received a DM about LSU/Glauber on here last week. Then heard it from another person soon after. Not sure if it’s just the echo chamber of the internet or just an open secret.

I’m sure he and others are getting offers. It’s interesting too that what he says after every game is “we’re the best team here, there’s no other team I’d rather play for”
I know I have my Carolina blue shades on but I sure wouldn’t do anything to rock the boat right now if I have a coaching staff I trust and am projected to be a first round pick in 28. All for a little more money? No way.

So we supposedly will have a bit more NIL$ next year . I am sure This Pitcher will get his fair share-as he should. He will give up multiple of 6 figures in all likelyhood by staying here
As mentioned several times on this thread the real goal is to maximize his draft potential
He knows he can do that by staying at Carolina

We’ll get him some NIL $ (not as much as others will offer though) and he will stay put. Just too good of a situation here and the last thing he needs to do is add an unnecessary change. He’s going to need to keep improving and has a shot to chase #1 overall draft spot. We have two for real pitching coaches and not just 1 plus an analytics guy, a head coach and recruiting coordinator that have been pitching coaches here, and every coach on staff has a feel for the mental aspects of the game that will be the difference maker in him becoming great.

I'm surprised- but I guess I should not be - as to what some folks will tweet as fact - and couldn't be more false....and then it spreads like a wildfire.

Have trust in the reporting here and reputable sources of info and don't get jacked up about randoms tweeting or posting on other social media platforms.
