We dominated the game vs VMI. They hit 19 freaking 3 pts. That's almost 1 every 2 minutes. That's 57 pts on 3s alone. U show me a box score where a team hits 19 3s in a game, and at one pt is down 19 pts. Think about that for a second. If they hit even 10 of em as opposed to 19., that's 27 less pts , UK cruises by 30 plus. To say we played like chit is unreal. We dominated every aspect of the game (obviously except 3 pt shooting). When guys are hitting 30 foot 3 pointers,,, its hats off and on to the next play ...

I mean not to mention jacking them up from way out. You can't defend a guy who is going to let it fly from any distance as soon as you head towards him.

To be fair Bubba hit about 5 from the logo. That's not really a defensive problem. We have way to many switching lapses but we always do this time of year. Hopefully like always we shore it up and it clicks.

Could we have defended the 3 better? Yeah. We DID give up some open shots.

DId the kid also make some extreme circus shots? Yeah.

I don't know how many on here went back and watched the game again but Parham was defended and made some unbelievable 3 point shots. There was a few that were open but most of his shot were defended well. If you look at VMI they were shooting 34% from 3 point as a team and Parham was only 9/26 for 34% from 3 point shot. I believe since the SIU 2nd half we have been playing good ball and the last 2 games our offense was way better than in the Duke game. PJ had 2 great games, Travis played outstanding in just 22 minutes putting up 22 and 8, and Green scored 17 and is playing better and hit 3/5 from 3 point. I think the only difference in the team was how Herro started out in the Bahamas and all the fans and experts were saying that Herro was now a One and Done. Herro has been in a slump and he just needs to have a big game and he will be fine. The team will get better as we go through November and December and we will be fine when the SEC Season starts. This team will be fine.
