I agree. It's a peek inside those contentious arguments we've all seen & kinda wondered about. For, you know that coaches, players, & umps know each other well. I think the mic'd up ump did a hell of a job.

Never thought about that particular word being "homophobic". I suppose technically it is if you go with the literal meaning, but it's so common that you'd have to be ridiculously hypersensitive to use that excuse.

Yeah, the ump did well. I guess the issue is that the video leaked out and exposed what they thought of as a secret of sorts. Those arguments are a long held tradition though, and I don't know anybody who thought it was a Sunday School type situation.
