Penn State adds UMass to 2028 football schedule

The Penn State Nittany Lions have added the UMass Minutemen to their 2028 football schedule, FBSchedules.com has learned.

Assume a CFB team plays 12 games in the regular season. If the three non conference games are non-competitive, you are down to a 9 game season. In our conference, we can assume that 5 games are not competitive (Pur, Ind, Rut, MD, IL, NW, MN, UCLA).

Let’s face it folks. In today’s CFB, Penn State plays a 4 game season. In recent years, Penn State has been about .500 in their competitive games. Not good enough.

Dinosaur Barbecue used to be a place, but it might be more of a tourist trap now.
That time of year is great to hike, boat, visit some wineries.
Might make this a M/C trip, depending on weather and how I feel at the time.
