You got me. Now that I think

about it, I don't ever recall an 18-20 year old college kid lying on twitter.****

Yeah, it's pretty safe to at least remove his name from this thread.

I don't know if I want to remove it. It's rumored, and it was pulled from a couple of sites. He may very well stay (heck, more of them might stay). That's kind of why I had the column of whether or not they actually transfer. If he doesn't transfer, we'll just mark it as "N".

I read on twitter where a recruit said Dave Mullingson was staying at MSU.

Probably a good idea to remove it. If he's said he isn't leaving. I'd say horses mouth trumps message board wishful thinking rumor

So a player stating on a public forum that he's not going to Michigan and happy to be at Ole Miss is not a good enough source to believe he's probably not gonna transfer? Alrighty then.

You would probably believe a coach if he announced in a public forum that he is not going ANYWHERE and is happy to be at X school... Sucker.

Virtually every HC that has moved on has done this. I don't know you think is preventing a player from doing it.

Hell, Jimbo was on his coach's call in show the night before he signed his A&M contract saying he was staying at FSU. And, then there was this other guy, Don.. something. Can't remember. Anyway it's pretty common.

So the subject is speaking the truth.........

On his podcast Thursday, McCready admitted that information came directly from Freeze: “Did we discuss the NCAA case? Yes. Did I ask, hey, what’s in it? Yes. Was I told it was mostly Nutt and women’s basketball? Yes. Did I feel misled? Yes.

Probably about the same opportunity for truth in his Twitter posts as freezus and bdork tweeting the truth about cheatin.

Nope, but it’s almost a forgone conclusion that they are getting a top 100 QB from Cali who is committed to UF. Two things to take awake from it:
1. The network is back
2. Mullen is still getting 17ed by OM in recruiting

Yeah, he’s not a Mullen quarterback. Good for Ole Miss being the one to scoop him up though.

I think that one is hilarious personally. Worth them getting him. Can't wait for Gatorcountry when it happens.

Mullenz apparently can't flip the Texas kid away from MSU that committed to him -- but he can still lose his committed QB to OM.

I think we see new names pop up over the holidays after these guys get away from it all for a little while. There's going to have to be a bunch of care packages sent out to make sure the Love Is(nt) Gone...

Updated Patterson and added a column for where they transfer to. I know Anderson and Jefferson are being talked about as going to Michigan, but I haven't seen where it's official yet. Anybody have any info on the them and the others?

Here's a link to the story about him not being able to transfer to Michigan due to his academic work being deficient.

https://www.freep.com/story/sports/college/university-michigan/wolverines/2017/12/13/ole-miss-safety-deontay-anderson-not-transferring-michigan/950070001/

Ole Miss fans are ecstatic that he's "getting what he deserved" for wanting to transfer.

Am I reading this right? You’d seriously prefer our bitter in-state rival (who we play every year) to land a top QB prospect over a school that we play once every 6 years (thus almost guaranteeing we will never play against said prospect)? Some of you 17ers have lost it.

Would OM educators intentionally torpedo the semester grades for an athlete who threatened to transfer in order to keep them?

I'll worry about a highschool QB going to Ole Miss when I can remember the last one there that beat us without 30 seconds of thinking about it...among an absolute sea of 5 star Heisman contenders that never did anything.

You really think OM is just gonna roll with one QB? That they can't/won't get another one? Know what I'd be worried about? Another savvy dual threat that's been overlooked.

You think that this "top QB prospect" from California has just suddenly up and decided they were a better option than everyone else? I encourage you to do a little digging and read up on him rather than just looking at the starZ. That a pocket passer is more of a threat in that system than a good dual threat? While we are at it, let's also remember every elite receivers they have are draft eligible or already gone next season...with Metcalf being the only one with a snowballs chance of being back...

But, yes, I guess I've "lost it" for wanting to see Mullen squirm and Florida melt down... Even though he's probably simply been waiting on a dual threat to hop aboard in order to tell Corral to look around as is and that writing on the wall being why he has already been doing so...

The Cult just can't handle a defector.

They are absolutely insane. I hope that isn't anyone over 18 writing that stuff on NAFOOM

I’m not “worried” about OM getting a HS QB either. But I still don’t want OM to get anybody worth a ****, ever, at any position (not a hard concept). Therefore, my choice is always for them to not get any player they are after than for them to get that player. And by extension, I’d always prefer any team we only play once every total solar eclipse to get a player OM is after instead of them getting that player. And as you said, Mullen probably doesn’t care if Corral goes there because he can find a better guy for his system if it plays out that way. So all It does is make OM better and make UF / Mullen better if Corral flips to OM. I don’t see how that could possibly be a desirable scenario for an MSU fan.
