UL and UK are very similar teams. UL has the bigger star and can shoot from the outside, but that team is equally as streaky during games. UNC was down its star and controlled the game for most of the game after the 10:00 mark of the first half.

People have forgotten that he is coming off multiple years of Kenny Payne. They are clearly trending in the right direction. Yeah they're offense is gimmicky due to not having a legit inside presence, but our mensa candidate coach couldn't figure out we needed to guard the 3 relentlessly. To pretend that Kelsey is in the same hot seat as Pope is delusional.

Back in the day, our nickname for Gerry Faust was "Rah, Rah." I know a lot of our posters love that style in announcing (Vitale) and coaching (Pat Kelsey), etc. In coaching, like a lot of gimmicks, it works in the short term. Sooner or later, there needs to be some substance beyond all the hot air.
