Is there anywhere else nice and has actual fans to watch the UK game in Lex? If a feller goes to KSBar what time would you need to be there for a 7:40 game? Thanks

Who in Lexington wouldn't be cheering for UK in the NCAA tournament except an idiot?

I would get there a couple of hours before tip, maybe even sooner. It's Friday and S16, some folks might take off.

For folks in Louisville, Saints Pizza & Pub in St Matthews is a great place to watch UK games with BBN.

We've had this talk before on the boards and it could get fugly due to peoples' opinions about what's best in Lex and who has the best food, etc.

So I'll go ahead and start.

KSBar is a dump. Their food is atrocious and beer was warm. Bathrooms look and smell worse than a fraternity house bathroom after a 10 hour puke fest. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a waft of old spilled beer, piss and bleach cleaner. Bartenders/wait staff just stand around and socialize and act like your ordering is annoying. I've given it a shot 3 different times and all three had me wondering what on earth I was doing. But I'm sure it will be a good environment for a UK game if you like a massive, stinky experience.

The best TVs and crowd, at least in my experience (I flew in for 5 games in 23-24) is LexLive. Get there about 6:30 though as it will be packed on a Friday night.

Another good place is Pies & Pints, although this is more fun about 2-3 hours before a Rupp game.

I'll leave the rest to the Lex locals.

Not only are you not funny but your response doesn’t even make sense.

I wasn't really trying to be funny.. Was just saying that anywhere you go in Lexington (that has sports on TV) on a big UK game night should be nothing but UK fans.
