The last thing I think we need to find, is someone who can really create their own shot at a high level. That seems to be an area of weakness. Would love to see Cason take that next step forward and become a Wall/Fox type guard. That's how we'd really turn into a f4 type team.

Livingston is being played at the wrong position. He does better at the 4 but Cal keeps trying to make him a 3. Seems like there's always 1 player he tries to force into the wrong spot.

Absolutely agree. And it’s usually trying to force a 4 to be a 3. Occasionally forcing a 5 to be a 4 (Ware/Collins but that’s bc O gets 35 mins game).

Livingston would be a great small ball 4 but his handle isn’t good enough to be a full time 3 yet. If he can get a little more fluid and comfortable handling the ball beyond strong hand straight line drive:…then he could develop into a 3 at some point. He has a smooth spot up jumper but I don’t think we will ever see his handle catch up enough or his shooting coming off screens improve enough to be a true 3
