It was our second road game, we got a few bad whistles, and the other team made some shots they normally dont hit. **** happens. We're fine and we'll bounce back.
relax. Yes its his first post but good lord, he didnt bash anyone. He asked an honest question.
Man these losses hurt. I felt sick and laid in bed for about 1 hour after that banked buzzer beater.
Seeing all these negative comments highly confuse me. Sorry that i’m a new member? lol. Not here to bash anyone. Here to listen to others opinions.
2 of S.C's players had career highs tonight. I know their main scorer had a bad night, but those 2 made a lot of shots that eventually sunk the ship.. On to the next game, that's all we can do..
Can't lose this game tonight. Just can't vs a team that lost at home vs Boston U and Stetson.
2 missed dunks in the 1st half can't happen and 1 led to a tech for hanging on the rim which was BS but that is 5 pts. Those 5 pts mattered in the end.
11 missed FT's
15 turnovers
20 off rebounds given up.
That Hagans over the back call was BS the announcer even said it critical time in the game gave him his 4th foul and they got 2 FT's that they made from it.
Those back to back Hagans turnovers late killer.
Early in the game what we have 2 or 3 of those travel calls where these refs call guys when they put the ball on the ground you can't have those.
Was up 14 points in the 2nd half.
So frustrating and it won't get any easier @ Arkansas, @Texas Tech and @Auburn coming up.
This could get ugly fast if they don't come together like now.

Here's one thought on the end of the game. I know situations are different, but why are you not guarding the Indbounds? You always guard the inbound. The strategy is simple. It takes more time to run to get a ball, catch it, and turn around towards the basket than it does for a guy to catch it in stride. If you are afraid your players forget you call an instant time out when the ball goes through the net on your side.
The problem wasn't that they had 4.1 seconds left. The problem is we barely gave them any resistance. That's my though. That and how the eff do you give up 20 offensive rebounds at the University of Kentucky. Unimaginable to me.

it was discounted after the Alabama game because we won but 13 offensive rebounds coupled with 14 turnovers is not a great recipe for success. Tonight 20 offensive rebounds coupled with 15 turnovers. Sorry you deserve to lose like that. Every freaking Game we turn the ball over like mad the first 8-10 minutes. Had 7 tonight the first 10 and should have had a 15-20 point lead but always stayed in the 7-10 range. Just disgusting display of basketball but its what we do, how we play and is what it is. Here’s to hoping they come together so we can see them play a few good games together before we start all over again next year.
That loss besides the obvious ( stripes) comes down to not valuing possessions and having unready freshmen launching horrible shots. In trying to get them going, game was lost.
