***UK vs MSU OFFICIAL GAME THREAD***

[JesusCal91]

Hagans layups is getting to be like a catcher who can't throw the ball back to the pitcher

[ukwildcat2004]

How come if that play is on the other side of the court it's a foul but Hagans is a no call?

[ala_kat2]

Hagans has to start finishing at the rim.

Might help if he’d use the backboard. He leaves too many shots short off the front rim.

[jameslee32]

Hagans is a pass first PG. Too many drives I think.

[502 Wildcat]

Hagans can’t make layups. So frustrating

He’s attempting some really tough layups. I like the confidence over what we saw from him last season but at some point you have to try something different.

with Winston now having 4 fouls that may change things.

[Jakarii]

it was obvious that that was going to happen because he’s not getting low on defense. Standing to straight up so can easily be driven past

Nick broke the cardinal rule on defense. Don't give up the baseline.

[bbnkat02]

How come if that play is on the other side of the court it's a foul but Hagans is a no call?

beacuse refs hate Cal.

[JesusCal91]

We're getting a good whistle the refs haven't made Hagans blow every layup he gets get real

[HenryMuto]

Well that sucked. From 13 to 6 in a blink of an eye.

[kyjeff1]

UK standing around like they have the game won and MSU is still scrapping. Come on guys.

[ubtrapper_rivals103836]

Hagans better start finishing or he’ll be on the bench

That's a fact!

[ZaytovenCat]

The patented choking of the lead

Nobody has done it better the last 10 years! As soon as a lead gets to 10 we just stop playing.

[bigbluefattycat]

Damn Hagans still can’t finish. What’s worse is he doesn’t know how to initiate contact and draw the foul either. Needs to drive with the idea of setting up his bigs or kick out to shooters

That's what cost us last year. Other teams knew that's what he would do and just played off him begging him to shoot because they locked down all of his outlets.

[nkuCATfan]

Hagans might have got fouled on that one. Lots of contact. But this is the number 1 team, they will make plays and runs. Just gotta keep grinding on defense.
Honestly we have been waaaay better in a half court game which bodes well if you’re thinking of March.

[Comebakatz3]

Dude makes a high school level save. Announcers: “How about that save by that all American!!!!!!!”

Then they praise a guy who the defense just never stopped. Literally no one picked him up.

[bbnkat02]

Bunnies.

[jameslee32]

Maxey. Runner. Then got beat on a drive.

[Crawfords Corner]

What a shot by Maxey

[ganner918_rivals60369]

Hagans is a pass first PG. Too many drives I think.

Things should get better for him as we run a more coherent offense as the year goes on

[bbnkat02]

Maxey. Oh my....

[richbrookstomato]

What a shot by Maxey!!:scream:

[JesusCal91]

Hagans Whitney and Richards in at once is an abortion

[ZaytovenCat]

Maxey or quick should shoot everytime. Whitney needs his *** benched rest of the game for that weak *** foul. Just gave up 3 easy. stupid!!

[SophiesDad]

Stupid foul by Whitney.

[kywildcat1021979]

Whitney needs to play better too!

[ganner918_rivals60369]

Stupid foul there, didn't even contest the shot

[hotelblue]

when we go 3 guards for real we’re going to be a total handful.

[bbnkat02]

**** these refs.

[Jamal Mercer]

This has all the makings of an annoying loss that should have been a win.

[Crawfords Corner]

Getting away from us a little here. Someone needs to make a huge defensive play and then we need a bucket.

[Wildcatfan66]

Jump ball ref

[richbrookstomato]

Hey Ashton, it's time to PLAY BALL!!!!

[ZaytovenCat]

WTF IS CAL DOING DUMPING IT DOWN LOW! I swear he’s trying to lose this damn game. Horrible coaching yet again.

[RunninRichie]

H

**** these refs.

trying really hard to keep izzo in this game sad

[SophiesDad]

Ref really gave em a timeout there? LOL

[Colts240]

We get hammered down low no foul we touch them a foul

[TheWyldKat_rivals45219]

Makes me nervous every time someone tries dish the ball to Nick under the basket.

[TomTraubertsBlues]

Has Nick improved at all since he's been here?

[loublue22_rivals308424]

This is basically the only way I would have been frustrated with this game, you can't blow this lead.

[KyCatFan1]

Offense has looked like garbage the last few minutes.
