It’s great when some guys come back. Look what it did for PJ. Not in every way, but in some ways this is the best we’ve looked early in several years. That said there is a 2nd half to play.

Hagans was up and down scoring in the half but he really sets the tone defensively. Ball pressure, creates turnovers and even challenged a lob!
great half. will need to make some shots. doubt we get to shoot 20 FTs this half
Cal really needs to figure out a scheme for Whitney going forth, he's not a skilled ball handler nor shooter, greatly limits his options. Great in the open court, slashing and playing near the rim, believe he should play PF more until the other part of his game develop.
How has Hagans gotten this far in basketball and he's incapable of a lay in

Maxey was getting to the basket at will in the 1st half and he starts on the bench this half ...... COME ON CAL!
Maxey has to be out there at all times. Our half court offense is pretty stagnant and we have no post offensive presence
Hagans is too stagnate holds the ball way too long. He’s going to lose his starting spot to maxey.

It's real simple. Defense be damned. Hagan's progression on offense starts at the rim. Finish. If not he can come back for another year because the draft will not be a place for a guard that can't shoot or finish at the rim.
