Whew, what a game. Feels like we lost these ALL the time under Cal the last 3 years.

We did! I am stunned. My son at college texted me how he cannot believe what he just saw. My 81 year old mom just texted me. I feel like driving to Lexington to celebrate. I was soooooooooo pissed at Williams at half and was riding his *** hard. He played really well in OT but he still needs to get his minutes cut until he plays like he did OT the whole game!

The first half concerns were warranted considering it was the third straight game this team has shown no first half life. It isn't about Pope; it is about the players. It is time for some real gut check by some, especially Williams.

This may the biggest takeaway from this game besides getting the big win. We honestly looked better with him running the point than we did with Kriisa in the game.

My friend, you are exactly right. That switching defense confused one of the best point guards in the nation. A Cal coached team loses this game by 30.

Between the Duke game and this one, I have a feeling most won't be writing us off so quickly as this season goes on.

And we had a better second half against Clemson too, just couldn't quite get over the hump. Pope is great out of halftime. Now we just need to figure out the first half...
