This is a rebuild year. Not blaming Pope in the least but we just don’t have the horses this year. This team was made from guys that weren’t NBA ready and weren’t good enough out of HS to find a spot on powerhouse teams. It is what it is. Pope will have the horses in a few years. Jaxson is a huge disappointment IMHO
We just are not a very good team. The SEC schedule will make for a long season. I just hope our efforts and skills thisyear does not hurt our recruiting. Kids like to win and we may not be winning a lot this year. Gonzaga is really not an elite team.

Half the board gave up on him last game. I’m glad the guys on the team aren’t this board cause they would be down 40. At least they don’t quit. I am backing Pope and our guys. It’s embarrassing how some act after one game. Let’s see how the year turns out. I think we are pretty good for the level of talent we have. We need Robinson to be the guy everyone thought, get Butler back. And have Amari not be lost and we can be competitive. Get some good looks for guys and play tougher.
