Eh seeing Dontaie blast Miss St by himself in the second half and OT was one of my fondest sports memory in recent years. That was more exciting than any Kentucky men's basketball game this season. Easily.

Watched and enjoyed. These girls are superb...powerful, talented, experienced, and of course well coached. Fun to watch, and great fun to make history this season. NCAA got their seed right so far...they have a great chance to win it all.Am I the only one watching UK in semifinal game
I only caught the last few minutes. What was the supposed controversy the guy kept harping on?
Well when you want UDub to win, very clearly, you're gonna harp on a call. Tough tiddy though, that'd what you get when you use your third challenge up 10-8 in a set you'd go on to win. 2nd set no less.A call the refs missed. It was a controversy at all. At least not a big one.
Washington couldn't challenge it b/c their coach used 3 challenges already. Dude would challenge every point if he could.
Glad I wasn't the only one who caught that. They go home and we advance with all 3 challenges left IIRC.The male announcer was worried the whole time about WA using all their challenges early. So obvious who he was rooting for. Then when one of our players hit the net and we got the point he was beside himself. Only call I saw us get the whole night and it devastated the biased announcer. Great seeing us just crush his wish.
So many impressive players! Easy to see why they only lost one game. 7PM CST Saturday, I will be there in front of the set!
Really fun to watch. We've got the NPOY, NCOY, 2 other first team players, a 2nd team player and a 3rd team player! Incredible assemblage of talent.Jus came to this thread and happy to see we weren't the only ones that noticed the pro Washington coverage, especially by the male announcer. He did the same thing in our match against Purdue but really was going overboard tonight. I'm sure he'll be praising everything Texas/Wisconsin does against us the the title match. The volleyball Cats are just so fun to watch and I'm very proud of what they have accomplished. Not let's be the first SEC school to win the title. GO BIG BLUE!
That guy was terribleAnnouncer is still butt hurt about that missed call in the UK UW game late 2nd set in the Wiscky game. Lol
Haven't seen Wisc play, but just seems a joke to only play 16 games and get the #1 seed when other teams have only lost 1 but played many more games, sure hope they were dominant but they don't look great here.Looks like it will be Texas vs UK.
Won first two sets and lead early in the third.
He can take that and a shot clock violation and stick them up his ***.Announcer is still butt hurt about that missed call in the UK UW game late 2nd set in the Wiscky game. Lol
Texas is really good. Gonna be a battle.Lol Wisc, lost in straight sets.
Made the same comment during the game. It was almost uncomfortable listening to his giddiness over anything Washington. It was that noticeable. This male announcer must be a chubby-chaser or graduated from Washington.
I had wondered if he had a Pac-12 affiliation, at least Walton comes out and says it and you can have fun with his ridiculousness. If you couldnt tell by the game last night (sarcasm) Paul Sunderland has been the voice of Pac 12 Sports (including volleyball) for at least 30 years. Was almost Walton-esque in his blatant bias for the "Conference of Champions"
Hell, I can remember him doing Olympic Mens Volleyball in the 80's!
Ironically he does alot of womens basketball on SEC Network as well. There it seems like makes a point to piss off some his female color commentators with snarky in game commentary
Not good enough to beat texas evidently.Wow how good was Wisconsin in 16 games to get the nod for 1 seed when Texas has played 27 games and UK 23....
That is a fact. There was not one UK basketball game that came close to the excitement and hustle put out on the court by those young ladies. That was more exciting than any Kentucky men's basketball game this season. Easily.
Two things in play here. Not good enough to beat texas evidently.
Im telling you all its an awesome sport. That is a fact. There was not one UK basketball game that came close to the excitement and hustle put out on the court by those young ladies.
This is what college sports should be
Same...unless she's on the same side of the net as meI want no part of playing volleyball where Tealer is on the court
I know absolute stud out there but hell the whole team is a bunch of studs!Same...unless she's on the same side of the net as me
When I think college sports this is what I am thinking about. They were playing for the University of Kentucky and their team mates. So refreshingI know practically nothing about volleyball, but really enjoyed watching KY’s fabulous team play. I hope they win it all !!
Throughout the pre-game, game and post-game, along with the build-up for the TEX-WISC game, was anyone besides me totally impressed by how articulate and knowledgable the players and coaches were ?? Perhaps I am too naive and ignorant about the sport, but I couldn’t help but notice it ... especially the coaches. They really go into detail about all facets of the games ...
Was it Jon Sunvold(sp) ?Jus came to this thread and happy to see we weren't the only ones that noticed the pro Washington coverage, especially by the male announcer.
