UK v UT for it all

How many times does Barnes have to beat Cal in a game that matters before you accept that Barnes, as weak of an overall coach that he is, has Cal's number.
If I hear Cal say one more time how much he hates coaching against his "friend" Barnes, just before his "friend" Barnes humiliates his team on the floor, I'm going to puke.
Cal needs to man up and figure out how to beat that clown and then coach his team for what he is paid to do.......WIN. Especially against our rivals.
I have seen nothing to make me think Cal could beat Barnes in the tournament this year.

It would be extremely difficult though for them to beat UK 3 straight times in 1 season.
Don’t see it happening. Barnes is notorious for early exits in the NCAAT.

Aside from beating them by 28 in Lexington there is no rerason to believe UK has ANY shot at UT? Right Chicken Little. If Oscar makes his fts and Toppin doesn't make that one stupid pass, we would have won the damn game even with our guards hitting only 4 of 25 shots. That's why we certainly can beat UT. My guess is they lose and we never play them anyway if we somehow make it to the FF. Barnes is no clown either. I know you'd be a better coach at UT than Barnes, wouldn't you?
That's what everyone said about Grant "The Flopper" Williams and Admiral "Just a Private" Schofield.
And yet they saved their biggest "Flop" for the NCAA tournament. I expect the same out of this bunch of UT floppers, grabbers, and pushers, but I don't want us to have to play them to find that out.
Barnes knows Cal's "system" inside out, and Cal will not make any adjustments, thus it is always a 50/50 toss up on whether we can beat them or not.
Excuses are for losers. If, if, if.
The reality is Barnes at TN wins against Cal coached teams more times than he loses to him. That's facts.
This post is not about Barnes ability to coach, it's about Cal's inability to beat him consistently. Barnes is not a HOF coach. Cal is. Barnes has NEVER made a FF. Cal has made multiple. Barnes has NEVER won a NC. Cal has.
I could go on and on with the differences between the two coaches records but you should get the picture.
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE FOR CAL TO CONTINUE LOSING TO BARNES ON A REGULAR BASIS LIKE HE HAS FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS AND COUNTING.
It's not about ME being a better coach than Barnes. It's about Cal being a better coach than Barnes and failing to show it consistently on the floor.
You're right about one thing. I shouldn't be calling Barnes a clown. He’s not the clown in this rivalry.
As long as we make it further in the ncaa tournament then any team you want to compare us against. I’ll be happy. Remember when we beat Auburn twice in the regular season but lost in the tournament And miss out making a final four? I would rather lose to them twice in regular season and then beat them just once and get to the final four. I guess what I’m saying is Tennessee will always be **** unless they make it pass the Sweet 16 for once.
If TN is allowed to push, hold, trip, shove, chest bump on D they may win it all. However, they are very ordinary on O. Still, if they continue getting the friendly whistle, I should say non-whistle, they'll be a factor.
Tennessee is better than UK at every position except center and they have two bigs to throw at Oscar, but I think UK would win this game, and I thought UT would win the SEC Tourney game look where I predicted a UT 10 point win. On the Big stage I think Tennessee would fold, Just my 2 cents
UT has never seen the final 4. History doesn’t bode well for them. Also this UK team won’t go past round of 16 and will lose earlier if the guards can’t find the basket
Id rather get the one clunker game out of the way v the best defensive team in America than do it in the Dance.

Also the past means squat for the next 3 weeks. Just like UKs 17 FFs wont help us get an 18th, UT never having been to one will not prevent them from getting their 1st this season. The only thing tradition helps in is recruiting and seeding. Perception.
UT is without question in my mind one of the 5 best teams in this tourney. They’ll need to trip up big to lose early. I can easily see them making the final 4 and title game. I can also see them losing in round 2.
Unfortunately I see the same thing with UK. We just aren’t playing our best ball. People predicting us to go to the final foul are still seeing that great mid season run we had. Our play lately does not justify that pick at all.
