UK-UL game at 1 pm

Why is it stupid? I consider it kind of a "holiday game" so the 1pm start time doesn't really phase me

Some people don't get the 29th off and it's another full work day.

Not me, I'll be off, but many won't be.

I'm a little confused. UK and UL scheduled the game, right? And I presume they chose the day on the calendar.

That Wednesday night game last year was still the 6th most watched regular season game.

Because people know that Kentucky fans will watch the game no matter what time it is on.

It really won't matter what time or day UK vs UL takes place. More often than not, Kentucky beats UL. I don't see why anything different should be expected this season? I know Rick has said this is his most atheletic UL team, maybe, maybe not, but we can all agree on this UK roster has better talent and can get higher than the guys on the UL roster. This Kentucky roster is built to fly up and down the court and to play above the rim.Rick sees good hops with his guys, Cal sees world class hops with guys like Knox and Diallo being on the floor.

That's why this game doesn't really matter to anyone outside of Kentucky.

I don't care about the time from a fan perspective. I will watch the game no matter what time/day it is scheduled. I just hope it doesn't affect the players being at an unorthodox time/day and our guys show up off their game.

This stuff is silliness. I remember some blaming the near 10 pm start time for our dismal performance against NKU last season in the tournament (forgetting we play plenty of Tuesday late games AND NKU had to play at the same time as well).

These are young men, many 18 years old. They could give a rats *** what time a game is. Silliness

I put in a call to UL and it seems they have a Minardi party scheduled that night and needed the game to wrap up by 4 o'clock. Makes sense.
