Living in San Antonio, it's hard for me to attend live games. But here we have Big Blue rolling in to College Station on Jan 13!!! Me and my 4 boys will be rolling in hot and wondering who else might be attending? We will be staying the night at Wyndham Garden Suites after the game. Probably head to a good watering hole after a good dinner for Sat night live action in College Station. I'm also planning on bringing my firestick for live sports and UFC action that evening (Just in Case). Any other locals planning on attending?

Still cant believe we only have a 28% chance of winning that game. Side note: That arena is loud...very loud!!!

Bugged aTm’s athletic office for a month, finally got some pre sale tickets through them. Section 123 Row M behind the cat’s bench. Flying in Friday and out Monday. We’re pumped!! Any recommendations on bars/restaurants/activities? First time going to college station.

Well crap! We are in 221...Row M. Boys bought them months ago at high prices...lol. Its all good though. I have no clue on the bars/restaurants/activities scene. I guess it depends on taste. I've heard Dixie Chicken, The Corner Bar, O'Bannon's (Craft Beer), The Cowboy Club. I'm thinking my college age boys will figure it out!

I was in Houston so I went back thru College station the year before the Harrison twins came(they were at that game). Lots of fun very friendly group of people, Billy Kennedy former coach at Murray State was coaching them, when they asked where we were from I said Murray...they asked me to take Billy back to Murray when I left!! I really enjoyed the game.

I was there. Most unbelievable call I've seen in person. Heck, even the A&M folks scratching their head. But live on...

I was hoping to go (live in Fory Worth) but couldn’t get tickets. I checked their box office almost daily. Then when it finally opened, it said they were sold out. Of anyone has a lead on reasonably priced tickets, let me know! We don’t mind sitting high

Rookie mistake on rule number 1 by your boys.. but they will learn.... Prices are almost, almost ALWAYS higher the further out the event. Teach them well grasshopper! Have a great time and Go Cats!

Anyway, have a great trip and pull the Cat's through.
And beware of the "Howdys" They are quite generous with them prior to games. Hopefully you can enjoy their reaction when you Howdy them after their loss...

lol. If you ever attend this game, you will realize how loud that "academia" gets. It's a very difficult arena! Damn near need ear plugs! lol Its one of the loudest arenas I've been at...

I'm a married man! How could you ask that question? I would never consider "starring" at them fine young Latinas and white girls, jumping up and down with their tight fitting attire. Its just wrong to completely "stare." Sure, an occasional glance might happen. But I immediately look away and slap myself!!!!! Or one of my boys!
