Kinda dumb considering the 2012 starting lineup costs $16 and doesn't even feature Marquis Teague, who I guess is free.

Anyway, I'd go with

Boogie
PPAT
MKG
Monk
SGA

Not sure if u have to have one from each vertical column or if u can mix in players from the same column. But purely based on the dollars assigned to each player mine:

Ulis
Quickley
Miller
Davis
Cousins

Ulis
Murray
Knox
PJ
Davis

Beat Knox off the dribble? Someones waiting for you at the rim. Knox would be a perfect trail 3 point shooter off the break.

PG - Ulis
SG - Monk
F - Miller
F - Patterson
C - Davis

Ulis will be my heady floor leader, the guy who runs the offense flawlessly, is an absolute gnat on defense, and sets the rest of these beasts up. Monk is an incredibly clutch shooter, a freak athlete who you have to guard everywhere he goes, and who can play with or without the ball. Miller will be my savvy two-way player that can hit the open three, can grab some tough rebounds, and be the guy guarding the other team's best wing. Patterson for what he did at UK at $1 is absurd. He's my intimidator. And we all know what AD brings. Absolute legend and a champion.

Want shooters on the wings. Randle and Davis would dominate people inside with no doubles. They did anyway but....

Davis ($5), PPat ($1), Herro ($2), Fox ($3), and Lamb ($3). $2 left over to upgrade (PJ and Miller sounds good, or Wall, or Murray). Davis is a must pick, especially given the depth at all positions. Fox is the best combination of leadership, passing, and just enough shooting for this team. Lamb is severely underrated and my personal must pick. Herro can shoot enough to space the floor and his lack of SF size is fine for college, if not ideal. Booker was too defensively challenged here (and, frankly, in the NBA); still have nightmares about Dekkar/Hayes working him in the 2015 Final Four. MKG is one of my top 5 personal favorite players of all-time, but I have some of his leadership with Fox and he just doesn't fit the modern game. Monk is terrific when on but too streaky for my tastes.

I went with

John Wall
IQ
TH
PJ Washington
Anthony Davis

(Also Matt jones's team sucks, he says everyone can shoot the reality is that most of them couldn't shoot that well, except murray)

UL's version....hahahaha. Is there any UL team you could create that could stay within 10 points of the weakest UK team you could make?

Ulis
Lamb
Miller
PJ
Davis

Ulis and Davis are must buys. Sophomore Ulis was the most productive guard of the Calipari Era, and Davis was the best player. I filled in the rest with shooting and players from strong defensive teams.

I'd go:
PG - Ulis
SG - Quickly
SF- Herro
PF- Towns
C- Davis

3 shooters that can play good/great defense on the outside. With 2 post players that are beyond crazy good. That would be a fun line-up to watch.

$5 AD
$4 Booker
$3 Fox
$2 PJ
$1 Quickly

PG: Fox
SG: Booker
SF: Quickly
PF: PJ
C: AD

A line up similar to this year with 3 ball handlers out top and 3 great shooters. PJ is a great passer and a stretch 4 that would make doubling AD tough. AD is tough enough to lock it down inside. I would give up some size to have great shooters combined with powerful frontcourt guys. Counting PJ that's 4 guys that can drain the 3 at a good clip plus AD who can do it all. A team built with speed and shooting.

Could go so many ways!

Ulis, Herro, Patterson, Towns, Davis (only took Towns over Cousins because he would foul out)

or
SGA, Murray, Miller, Patterson, Davis

or Ulis, SGA, Miller, Cousins, Davis

the bargains are SGA, Ulis and PPat
