Honestly, I noticed it, too. I just thought it was peculiar b/c the better seeded team usually plays first. I don't think it's about rest as much as it allows the coaches/players to begin scouting for the next game.

If you were playing, wouldn't you prefer the choice to be able to sit back and watch your next opponent? I would.

So, my choice wouldn't be anything major... I just think they should've swapped the 4/13 and 5/12 games like they did in EVERY OTHER REGION.

I'd put them in the slot iu got. I don't recall Cal saying he preferred late games. He might prefer it over noon but I bet he'd rather have the 7:30 slot.

Or maybe we are getting the later game bc we played more recently than anyone else.

Of the four pairs of games played today so far, the better seeded team has played first twice, and second twice. So that blows a hole in your theory. At least this gives me a chance to get home and eat dinner before the UK game starts.

It may have held true in the games today (again due to TV selection), but, traditionally, better seeds play first in a tournament. Like I stated above, I would personally prefer to play first to scout the opponent.

It doesn't matter at this point b/c you gotta play the games as scheduled at this point.

I'm not saying that some posters don't get a little carried away with this but there's way too many things the NCAA totally screws us on for them not to have an agenda against us. One thing here or there and I could see your point but we get the short end of the stick waaaay too many times. They ALWAYS mess with us.
