During the game:

• LB Antwan Smith (a rotational/depth piece) was carted off the field early and did not return. Kentucky was already thin at the position after Afari’s absence and Wallace’s injury. on3.com

• Later, top nickels/DBs Aaron Gates and Jaden Smith both left with injuries; Kevis Thomas rotated in at nickel. @adamluckettksr

nothing was mentioned postgame that I can find.

We could be really thin on defense next week

That skinny db we got with the long dreads really made some big plays for the defense. I'm trying to look up his name. Got hurt towards the end of the game. Haven't seen him much until tonight but he was a baller.

Smith holding his knee

It's got to be hard playing sec football being that thin. Hes tough tho. Got past his blocker and made a tackle for loss in the fourth quarter that gave a little boost of momentum.

Hopefully, Wallace is back on the field for LSU is Afari and A Smith are out.
