I always listen to KSR, but the last year or so they have been severely lacking on discussing the men's basketball team on depth, the players now, and recruiting updates. And I don't think their knowledge is very good to start with! Especially Lemmond, he's a babbling idiot, is there any other UK podcasts that are worth listening to? I need more UK basketball talk, hell, more college basketball talk in general! Much appreciated.

Ryan is nothing more than an echo of anything Matt says. He does not have a mind of his own.
Ryan’s a good dude. I don’t listen to KSR hardly at all anymore but when I did Ryan was fun to listen to. I liked them all honestly.

Lemond IS a complete idiot, lacking even basic human knowledge. Perhaps his court jester persona serves a comedic relief need. However, the fact that ANY REPUTABLE sponsor would utilize HIM as a spokesperson calls their own business into question !

KSR is a joke anymore, I stopped listening months ago.

I used to listen to KSR regularly but with the lack of basketball information and the huge uptick in politics that was happening , I haven't listened in well over a year at this point. I have started listening to the Sources Say podcast which i believe is affiliated with KSR however. They mostly discuss actually basketball recruiting and team info.
I don't really care what you or anyone else thinks about KSR. I clicked to find out about UK basketball news, not about your feelings toward your agenda. I highly doubt I 'm the only one that feels the same way.
You realize who could have just said “Any sites or shows other than KSR To get info?” Instead you decided to post a dissertation about your opinion of KSR. Good thing you did, I’m sure everyone who reads this will now be swayed to your side of the debate.
With all the people in the world deserving of actual criticism imagine Ryan Lemond of all people eliciting such strong responses. He’s a good dude who plays the class clown role on a radio show. People will grasp at anything to dislike someone.
With that said, my KSR listenership has reduced dramatically the last year or so. I don’t have as much time now, but the show is also just different. They aim to be general entertainment now—it’s not consistently sports driven. It’s their show, but this style is not what I’m typically in the mood for.
However, it’s ironic because I believe their show today is going to be a good one to listen to if you’re craving some basketball news. At least for the first few segments ish. They'll probably lose focus or go to something else after that. I will actually try and listen to it at some point today.

Other than here and the next cats website i never look anywhere for UK info. Maybe only visit KSR once every few weeks or so.
There is something on Fox Sports Ohio Monday at I think 5 Eastern Time about this year’s team.

In defense of KSR, kinda, there is not enough news to talk about anything new every day, or for that matter every week. So just like every other news organization/broadcast, they fill the time with BS.

I agree. KSR is mainly political talk now. I don’t listen anymore.
The basic problem is lack of preparation and a laziness bred by being popular...more popular than interesting and informative. I cringe at what others--pros or listeners--must think about the often mindless, hayseed-like approach these guys now normally take when doing their show. I have observed them once live, and was impressed at how it was smoothly arranged and conducted; however, you often do not get much good news because they aren't trying hard enough. There is no homework, and they seem to have little or no plan. They simply drag themselves out of bed most days, and do not seem prepared or focused much on topics that might just interest their listening audience. They would likely get more listeners AND interesting callers if they would expand that part of their show. As it is, most get a very limited amount of time to make a point or two and then it's "Appreciate the call." time and they're gone. The show really should revolve closely around the fans and the callers. Matt loves to make himself the focus--yes, it's his "baby" but why not adopt a format that focuses more on the calls. Let people have their chance, in addition to being super prepared with good info, stats, etc. Ryan is a good guy. No one loyal to UK should be labeled a "babbling idiot" even if they might be one...and he certainly isn't. The show is not as good as it could be...Matt should take several steps back from the airwaves.
