UK has 5 out of 13 games where they have had 20 plus assists a game.

I have been watching UK basketball since 1978 and I cant remember anything like this.

This team is unselfish and has great passers and finishers.

The ball don't "stick" this year. Its in and out of hands in a hurry. Nobody seems like they want "to get theirs". I seriously think, if it's true that all our players are making six figures, NIL is a HUGE reason. In past years, I would expect Ware and probably Mintz to be pouting over playing time and at least one of Collins/Hopkins. Everybody seems content this year.

I love watching an unselfish team.When guys care about the team and the team goals it makes for an enjoyable ride.Im sure we are going to have some losses coming but I just hope fans realize the SEC is loaded this season and we can finish anywhere from 1st to 4th and still make a deep run come March.

I checked one season and immediately found this:

In the ‘96 NCAA tournament, we had 143 assists averaging 24/game. Those six games: 35, 20, 24, 22, 20, 22.

Of course that was the best college basketball team in history with massive amounts of talent that played an extremely uptempo game. Not that it should take anything away from the assist stats.
