It was funny early in the process when UL fans were clamoring about a top 5 class. No lasting power in that fan base. Now silence.

I still don’t understand how virtually every single one of the UK guys dropped (except Boston) when no basketball has even been played. Perplexing how Ware outplays the best big man in the country (5 star and consensus top 2 or 3 player) on both ends of the court and drops from 5 star to 4 star status. IMO, the gap between the Kentucky class and everyone else is bigger than these rankings show.

I truly think we will struggle early. There could be another Evansville type loss. I have not looked at the schedule. Boston and Clarke BETTER be extreme studs. If we get Sarrs eligible like we probably will then by end of year this team could be very, very good. We do this every year though-- alot of years we are over ranked early-- get beat a few times and then get under-ranked and end up going on a great run that has a chance at winning the whole thing. We lost every bit of our production but 4.5 pts a game. I think to say we will hang #9 might be a bit premature

Goodman says UK 24th. I don’t care Sarr or not since Cal has been here UK has never been in the 20’s pre season. There are not 23 teams better than UK.

This is a promising quote.

"I'm really excited about this group of young men," Calipari said in the fall.. "They recruited us as much as we recruited them. They wanted this culture. They wanted to be with other good players. They didn't need crazy promises. They wanted this. In the past, when we've had groups like that, it's led to success both individually and as a team."

Cowtown I noticed that too - one kid dropped like 35 spots? How do you do that with no games?
