UGA wanted it more. I think that was clear. A few UK players decided to step up late and were able to sneak out a win.

Man did JJ burn us up tho. Wow.

Hope Maten is ok. Seems to be by his demeanor on the bench.

J.J. Frazier was a man to be scared of tonight. Hope Maten's okay. Congrats on a whale of a game. Sorry somebody had to lose.

Play better against all teams and you might not be in this scenario.. But tough loss and tough season.

We wouldn't lose in any other fashion.

See ya next year.....when you have another sell out. I know you guys will be jacked up and ready to play. Maybe, you and your SEC brethren will take basketball seriously. Not just when you play us at home. I would suspect that Fox is fired. He should be. With the amount of talent that Georgia produces in basketball, there is no excuse for being so mediocre. Atlanta produces enough talent every year to make the NCAA tournament. Later.

I was hoping the refs would throw him out of the game. In a lot of ways he's a liability.
To be honest I'm surprised there isn't more players acting out like Briscoe did with the way SEC officials let the hacking and rough play go on. Most the time we get pushed and knocked around then when we touch someone the whistle blows.

I know its been said above but I too hope Maten is good and I wish Frazier was wearing a Kentucky uniform. Georgia played well enough to win and I love the environment in Athens when our guys are in town I have been there the past two years.

Tough season for UGA. They deserve a better fate. Hope they win out the regular season and do well in the SEC tournament

GDawg, thanks for being so classy, good to have rival fans like you on board. Appreciate what you have to say when visiting here. UGA played well enough to win tonight even without Maten, that really impressed me that your guys didn't just quit. Love to see you get some good wins to make the tournament but not at our expense, please.

I was half expecting it, to be honest. A takedown like that is not a common foul. Should have been a tech at least.

Maybe one of these days we'll decide to close one out on y'all.

Georgia fans acting like it was all Briscoe on the takedown. Dude elbowed him first and it was a carryover from the previous time they became entangled. Also, the frickin' refs gave you every opportunity to stay in the game. From the bullshat walk on Willis at the end of the first half to the constant pushing off by Frazier with his off arm to clear out space. Home cookin' at it's finest.

most of UKs points to win in the last 6 minutes were from the line, not much to complain about on that end...

Eh... it was poorly officiated, but there were calls they could gripe about too. There was a call against UGA on the interior that absolutely should have been a charge. I think vitale even said it.
But you are right on the Briscoe deal. He took a shot before the takedown.

i see the same thing happen to Florida every year, look at teams 3 pt % for one game against them over the years and how clutch they become at the end of games... teams get up to play the better teams in the conference and the nation, that's never been any different. Florida had it so bad two years ago they even wrote a full article about how they were literally the most unlucky team in the nation against all these clutch one night only steph curry's...

Congrats to the Cats. Same stuff for us time and time again. I know you guys aren't proud of Briscoe.
I am proud of him he just had a bad game . He didn't do anything wrong so think this is a silly comment . All he did was play as tough as the UGA players were but when he did it was a foul.

i didn't realize anyone was talking ****, if you think teams don't get up to play the only teams that are usually ranked in the conference to get big wins to help their resume for the tournament i don't know what to tell you...

Thanks Dawg. Your team is much better than your record indicates, IMO, and Fox is a very good coach. If he ever gets a few elite players from Georgia to stay home, you will be a contender in the SEC.

Hope Maten is OK.
Thanks man. See, that's the thing though, our ceiling was tonight. We won't ever get the elite talent, and we will always be the bridesmaid in big games. Just the way it is.
