uscjr loss would prevent KY from being a 5 seed in sec tournament, which is still a possibility. The worst case would be a 4 if sc loses tonight.

I think we'll win Saturday though - but it can't hurt to have them lose, LOL

i made a thread about it but did you guys see Carrera in bounds throwing the ball off of a georgia player for no reason at all but just to be an a hole?

South Carolina making our win look less and less valuable with every passing game. I was hoping they would end up the #3 seed in the SEC so if we are #2 seed we have an easier path.

Carrera is a punk player. I don't like him
I'm sorry @Wildcat-in-STL, I didn't see your thread on that, but i did see the play. Ridiculous
Glad UGA got the win; earlier in the season I was all about getting more SEC teams in and being a stronger conference and all that. But given some of the stuff that's happened - forget that; some of those wins those teams got weren't truly earned

It does help us, obviously - we just need to beat LSU Saturday and we're golden. Don't care if we're the 1 or 2 seed in the SECT

Like seriously what the hell is wrong with the SEC management? They'll go on campaigns to make UK lose on the road.... yet they wont even make 1/10th the effort to get Alabama or USC wins when it would benefit the conference.

We were never losing to LSU with Willis back so it doesn't matter and I would like to avoid A&M and Vandy til the finals as those are the 2 teams who have enough talent and experience to beat us on a neutral floor but it looks like regardless of what happens with Vandy v. A&M we will get one of them on Saturday and one of them on Sunday barring any upsets ( which always happen ) Looks also like we might get UF again as UF has UGA's number .

He was falling out of bounds. He threw it off the Georgia guy to retain possession. Nothing more, nothing less.

Then we really disagree what falling out of bounds means. I dont consider standing straight up and down and taking a step forward to be falling out of bounds when the baseline is behind him..

I feel good about the LSU game and I pretty much agree with your post. Great confidence on your part but I just can't ever say 'we'll never lose' to so and so before we play. Again, I'm feeling good about the game but I like to avoid my predictions too early. We've lost some in the past that we shouldn't have and it will happen again in the future. I'm glad you're all in and I sure hope you're right.

Now that's a new one, a rafter complaining that the refs are too honest. :grimace:

As usual the Jekyll and Hyde Georgia team shoes up. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother.

Not sure how UK and UGA lost at Auburn this year.

What Molar said. Such a weird team we have. Hoping for a better team next year. I guess losing Thornton and Djurisic hurt worse than many thought it would.

He was falling out of bounds and trying to throw it off the Georgia player, a la Jorts v Sullinger. It hit off the guy's leg and bounced in bounds instead of out.

Yes. Huh? Ulis would be the offensive penetrater weaving in and out of the defense. Offense. Point guard. Kentucky. Someone please cue up the USC game highlights. Unguardable. Did I make 2 spelling mistakes?

I'm very happy to see Carrera graduate. I won't call him a thug necessarily, but he's an extreme hot head.

I don't think we lose to LSU at home either. We have been playing awesome at home lately winning by average of 22 points in last 4 home games. Is Keith Hornsby for sure out for Saturday's game?

Dear God I hope Georgia can get the lizards one more time and third time will be the charm.

Nah you will smash them at rupp. They needed 56 FT attempts to beat UGA by 2 on their home court.

Y'all flat out broke South Carolina. They lost all confidence in that butt whoopin. As a Vandy fan, I want another shot at them. Our game in Columbia was bizarrely officiated....

The most recent thing I can find was an article from 3 days ago. At one point it mentioned the pain he was in just sitting in a chair. It may not be 100% but I doubt if he can play again this season.

This year UGA will lose Mann and Gaines. Frazier will still be there but what other guards will step up? I think Maten and Ogbeide (sp?) will be a good front court for UGA next year. I like Fox but I feel like he needs to start getting more of the top level in-state players.
