Looks like both UConn basketball teams will be preseason #1 nationally:
Group pic- bottom right !Jonathan 15 is going to be traveling with Jonathan 14 to learn how to be a mascot dog.
Geno's , "coach in waiting "replacement ?.... he ain't getting any younger (69), but I wonder whose leaving Uconn to create the opening ? There's only 3 to pick from.Cardoza, (55) although highly qualified, is highly qualified to be someone else's head coach as well.
There is furious speculation online that Tonya Cardoza is not only the most qualified person out there for the stated job criteria, but also that she will in fact be offered the job. I strongly suspect that Geno Auriemma himself drafted that job listing a few posts above and he may have done it to catch Tonya's attention.Pretty specific resume, here's a fit that's probably looking for work...
Usually these postings are crafted/ listed after the candidate is determined, not the other way around.I strongly suspect that Geno Auriemma himself drafted that job listing a few posts above and he may have done it to catch Tonya's attention.

ahem, as I was saying.....Usually these postings are crafted/ listed after the candidate is determined, not the other way around.
ps, I did get asked to participate for input on a Uconn FB think tank with the Parker Exec Search Agency before Mora was hired, not that the discussion probably meant much and I'm sure DB had him narrowed down either way.
"The NCAA now allows basketball programs to hire up to five assistant coaches (instead of the previous three), though the two new positions created cannot do any off-campus recruiting. That means Cardoza and Ben Kantor will join Geno Auriemma’s coaching staff......Kantor has been the team’s video coordinator since 2015."Geno's , "coach in waiting "replacement ?.... he ain't getting any younger (69), but I wonder whose leaving Uconn to create the opening ?
She is also a viable potential successor to Geno and may have been lured to come back by that possibility.

Found tape on her:
That's why I posted the tweet....I knew it would send you on some Yankees rant !!!.... even though I could care less to read it, LOL!Yikes! However a big difference between the UConn WBB and the Yankees injury bug is that the Yankees injury bug is more expected. When you sign and trade for players who have injury histories when they are in their 20s do you really expect them to play healthy 150 game seasons in their 30s? It's this type of naive management that has plunged the Yankees into perpetual injury issues the last 4 seasons. I stopped watching the team because I am sick and tired of guys not even being able to play 5 straight games without going on the IL. Josh Donaldson and his .141 batting average come off the IL, he plays 3 games in a row and injured again and back on IL. I had thought the Yankees learned their lesson with the Jacoby Ellsbury contract but they clearly have not. All I can say is WTF!!!!!! I can't take it when any team acquires players with known injury histories and expect them to stay healthy. And the Yankees have a history of doing this and "playing the money" instead of playing young talent that is also more durable talent.
With the UConn WBB it's just **** awful luck. With the Yankees, they deserve to have the record they have and it's no surprise all the guys they have had on the IL.
Well at least Dan had fun in the Bronx, even though he's a George Brett fan......where's my pine tar !Don't get me started with the Yankees. This is the first time I have ever stopped watching them. They aren't the Bronx Bombers they are the Bronx Bloopers. It's embarrassing!
