Haith first guard off the bench?! TU up 12-9 as starters were subbed out. Magnay & Igbanu both playing great so far!
Agree why sub with momentum and 12-9 lead. Promptly lost it with Haith and Henderson. Igbanu really tough inside. Sterling feeling it.

Even the announcers think an 8-9 man rotation is best --- vs. this 11 man experiment.
I just watched 3 minutes of basketball and witnessed Tulsa taking 5 straight 3s. That won't win many games for Tulsa.
Magnay, Taplin, and Korita.... should play the most minutes imo.

Don't disagree but who should relieve taplin. He is intense when in and wears out then getting a little lazy
We're really off on a lot of our shots but hanging in. Not giving them a lot inside so far. If we can get hot we could pull off a run.
Adams is a nice player for UCONN but he doesn't seem all there. I would swear he is still feeling the effects of the concussion. Purvis...eh. Our guys have really played some nice man defense today and have done a pretty good job on the glass against a slightly bigger team.
We need to avoid those stretches of just settling for the 1st 3 we can throw up. It sets us back and makes it easy in the D. Keep feeding Magnay down low and let him go at Enoch and Brimah. Magnay' footwork and finesse has them off balance.

Actually it was the look they wanted and a nice pass from Taplin to Igbanu. UCONN was able to recover for the block. I don't have any problems with the try we got for the last shot.
Taplin about turned it over leaving his feet then threw the nice pass into a triple team. Igbanu not that guy yet.
Actually I thought that wasn't that bad. Taplin made a good pass but Igbanu just couldn't finish.
If Birt doesn't hit one of first 2 shots, then pull him because he is not going to hit anything. I think he's 0-5 and 0 points. Won't win many games with ZERO production from the wing.
UCONN is using 20 seconds on the shot clock before doing anything. Product of not having enough players healthy. They are starting to wear down as they are getting slow on defense too. Etou and Igbanu are really taking it to the inside players right now.
Taplin may be the the best player on the court today. I know Adams is good but he is not playing like it. Taplin' shooting hasn't been great but he has gotten us into so good looks inside and has played really solid defensively.

Igbanu having a great game. Strong underneath. Birt did finally hit a 2, and subsequently air balls a 3. Man. I say Korita > Birt at this point.
