Yes, they stacked their team and will be paying the price for it soon enough.

But I wanna go back to something I said on Saturday. Regardless of what happened yesterday and even if this somehow gets back to Betts, her family or anyone associated with UCLA......it will never NOT be funny that she chose to spurn coming to Iowa during Clark's senior year because she got caught up in all the racism flaming/gaslighting that was being unfairly thrown upon the women's basketball program and the university after the NCG against LSU.

She would've helped Iowa win the title over South Carolina the following year, and instead, she'll be stuck "chasing the dragon" just like Caitlin. Of course, I'm sure they play with all their motivated might to finish the job with their senior-laden team...........................but plans have already been made. 😉

Yeah some idiot fans got into twitter arguments with a potential transfer who became one of the best players in the country and would have been the missing piece in at least one championship run. Hilarious.

And because she was so offended by those idiot fans choosing not to go to Iowa because of her lack of thick skin and inability to avoid social media altogether let alone dismissing the comments of fans regardless of who they root for, it's going to cost her what she wanted in the first place, which was to win a national championship........

So like I said, I will find it funny regardless, because karma is undefeated. 🙂

She’s a college kid. You’re being ridiculous. And I’d say she’s doing just fine.

She had a better chance for a national title at Iowa than UCLA? I'm a little slow so enlighten me.

Plus their first sub, who started last year before Kneepkins transferred in. UCLA has aimed for this season to try to win it all. I get it, especially when you have L. A. money to add to NIL
They have 5 or 6 transfers on that team.

Turns out those idiot fans only ended up costing Iowa a Natty.

I guess you're right though, karma is undefeated

UCLA 6 of 7 senoirs drafted, Iowa 0 of 4. Tough to beat that type of talent. Was hoping Hannah would get picked in the third round and make some nice $$$ at the end of a WNBA bench

Unfortunately Hannah never developed much of a jump shot and her free throw shooting was never very good. I loved her heart and how hard she played though. I wish her all the best, she was a great Hawk.
Yep, good but not great. And as an undersized big she would need to be a much better shooter than she is. The league is expanding, meaning more roster spots, so there’s still a chance for her. But she’d need to do some significant development like Gustafson did after college to have a chance at sticking with a roster spot. She got better as a FT shooter, before regressing this past season, so we know she can improve.

Last year, 20 of the 36 drafted rookies made rosters (I think), so 20 veterans lost their jobs.
This season, the WNBA has space for 210 roster spots including two developmental players per team. Even assuming that all 144 players from last year are re-signed, that means that there is space for all 45 draftees, plus some free agents, without cutting anyone.
