Oh Bennett.
You Stirtzy bastard!!!!!
You Stirtzy bastard!!!!!
Nice hard fought win against an another really tough opponent. Big Ten basketball as it’s meant to be. Stop whining about the refs.
Wow, hell of a gutsy win. Nothing going our way for a majority of the half and the refs were brutal. Hawks have a lot to work on.
It was 12. Stop whining we got a ton of calls
This team is awesome. Iowa bball is so fun again. Coach McCollum was a wonderful hire.
We actually had an atmosphere tonight! This bb is going to bring the fans back!
Fran would have been pissed at Stirtz for making that 3.
1 down 17 to go. OMG
Really happy we won in front of a crowd like this. It's desperately what the program needed.
Stirtz
That was CC range there. That was dirty!!

Glad we didn't choke and lose to that piece of crap Cronin.
Got exactly what I wanted. Make it so that UCLA is really pissed heading into Wisky. BTW F Wisky.
A 13-pt home win, is a 13-pt home win, against a better squad in the B1G .... but man was a lot of that 2nd half very I don't even know what the hell that was.
I know UCLA was a big part of it, but Iowa seemed to have called the game over at half and needed to be slapped a couple times to realize 'oh crap, the game hasn't been decided yet!'.
Bennett Stirtz is amazing. Iowa loses this game without him, probly even by about 20.

Showed some toughness at the end when they weren't playing their best.......hopefully that will serve them well in March
Great win. Lets go
Can't ask for more from Ben and this team.

Yeah but this is one is important for a team I think easily makes the tourney.
Ben gave him the signal to shoot it. Watch the replay.
Why add a pointless turnover for being Mr. Nice guy in the final 5 seconds?
Good quality win. Showed a lot of guts to hang on when things were going awry. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen this much mental toughness in the Iowa men’s basketball team.
Cronin is an Izzo-clone.Stirtz

If a coach/team deserves to be pooped on like that, its them.
Well you can: stop fuggin around and (trying) to find out with these second half lapses!
BS said post game that this was his first game of his college career that he's been in foul trouble.
Agree. Great win but this whiny little victim oh woe is me mentality is pretty pathetic. Iowa probably got the best of the calls down the stretch.
UCLA former player Tracy Murray, radio guy and NBA player said pregame that UCLA knows how to stop a teams top player and Iowa will need the bench to step up.
WRONG!
WRONG!
Alvaro carried us and gave the spark in the first half and Stirtz brought it home.
I’d say the bench had a hell of a game tho!
