The question is how lethargic will PSU be at the beginning and when (I hoping they will) will they snap out of it playing a winless team.

I expect PSU to be a well-oiled machine from the opening kickoff, as they always are.

If you're visiting the stadium, be sure to check out the "Court of Champions" on the south side of the stadium. The area contains plaques with the coaches and MVPs.

There are also statues of Keith Jackson, Brandi Chastain, and Jackie Robinson on the south side of the plaza. (For direction, the golf course is on the north side)

Jackie played football locally before breaking through in baseball. He lived in Pasadena and still holds the record for his 104-yard kickoff return in Rose Bowl Stadium when he played for Pasadena Junior College in 1938.

Brandi is featured with her signature sports bra moment to honor the 1999 USWNT World Cup victory at the Rose Bowl.

Keith, who dubbed the Rose Bowl "The Grandaddy of Them All," is posing with a microphone.

Tailgating at the Rose Bowl is awesome. Definitely more of a white wine/cheese/margarita crowd, but you know, that's my favorite .

The Tgar list of where to dine covers a lot of ground. Some local hiking trails, an afternoon at The Huntington, lots to do. Lots to eat. Lots to drink. Hopefully there will still be a Mexican hotdog cart or two in the vicinity. Fingers crossed.

Imagine a shopping cart with a hibachi-type grill on top of it, and hot dogs wrapped in bacon grilling along with peppers and onions.

The men and women who run these are often hispanic (hence "Mexican" hot dog cart). You will see a bunch of them outside of the Rose Bowl after the game, or outside Dodger Stadium, or Crypto Arena (Lakers/Kings arena).

They smell great and I've gotten them a few times. First time, tasted great. Second time, didnt taste as good and barely made it home in time due to some stomach issues.

@djmccaslin do they have outdoor party areas around the stadium lime at USC?
Do we need to pregame in Pasadena or can we expect to find some outdoor bar setups?
