I really really dislike having KES and SCG on the court at the same time.
I think it might be fun to play like ORU does and play the starters 40 minutes. We do okay with them and the subs get out scored 19-5 quickly after they come in.
Pro-tip: Don’t EVER switch to a zone when the team you’re playing has already made 10 3s in less than a half.
I was thinking the same thing. They should get 30-35 min and rotate McWright and Chuckwu in. No more KES or SCG PLEASE.

And therein lies the problem. I’ve never pulled the plug on a coach after one year, but this guy doesn’t know the definition of defense. I’m afraid we’ve made a horrible mistake with Konkol.

Then you didn’t watch Louisiana Tech defense. It was tough with better players at most every position.
I don’t think you realize how awful our talent situation is this season. Only time will tell if hiring Konkol was a mistake. But a single season with the level of talent isn’t indicative of what to expect.
Ignoring 100% of what he did at La Tech, and his bringing in the recruits which will help immensely next year. Go hibernate somewhere till next season.
Can you guys honestly not see that defense and effort can be coached. I’m not going to explode over it, I just feel like we’ve made a mistake. I hope next year proves me wrong.
