The 2 for 1 deal part is pretty crappy for respect. But FSU did it back in the day. Step up UCF.
I don't know. IF you are an up and comer you're going to have to take those. Plus minimal travel expenses. Good way to take on an instate foe and hope to win 2/3. With all their whinning, pretty hard to get sympathy that "nobody will play us" when you turn this down.

I don't know. Maybe just me.

Michigan vs Florida is fine in my book. I would have much rather seen UCF vs Georgia.

I like this game too, but I think Florida wins. I don't get too in to rooting for the B1G during bowl games but I do live in SEC country so I hear all of their cockiness ALL the time and root for them to lose every game.

UCF wants to belong at the big boy table without being a big boy. Anybody can be a big boy bullying other JUCO big boys or small Big Boys around all year.

UCF, if you want to be a conference doormat, whisper Baylor.

To be the best you gotta do things when you least want to do them. UCF should take this to help prove they belong. If they don't take it then they have lost any credibility they think they have.

Not that crappy when you consider Florida's stadium is literally twice the size of UCF's.

Right now UCF is that kid who wanted to act tough, but walked away from fights saying some **** like "he's just not worth it maaaannn". They don't want to schedule Florida because Mullen has them on the up and would boatrace their community college at both stadiums.

UCF likes to play pretend that there are 6 Power 5 conferences. Let that sink in for a moment.......

Their A.D Danny White alleges Stricklin (Florida A.D) intentionally ducked or played a part in keeping the directional college out of the playoff. I used to root for them and even chuckled at the way they parlayed their success into added free publicity, now I actually believe they are deluded enough to think they were national champions last year.

Take the 2 for 1 UCF, it's the best deal you are going to get unless you get called up to a big boy league.

UCF wants the same respect and deal as the big boys. 2 or 3 good years in G5 does not earn them that yet. They need to take these type of games when they get them. Earn respect by beating these teams in their house. This is just my opinion but I honestly believe UCF doesn't want to consistently play good p5 teams. It is easier to talk and make up NC, vs proving it on the field when it counts.
By not playing top teams, they can cry and say, "nobody will play us" Talking is much easier vs proving. UCF doesn't want to prove, they want to talk. Not taking this deal proves that.

Turned down the chance to play Florida.

Dumb, and I am a UCF homer. Bad move by the Knights. Makes them look like a bunch of snowflakes, you ask for it, but you can't step up and take on the Gators? In-state rivalry? No travel?

What do you want, some P5 patsy you've been beating already? Travel to Anchorage? What the hell is the AD thinking?

They’ve played 4 times and one was just last year at a neutral site..

LSU and Michigan have never played.. It was a no brainer..
I have no problem seeing LSU vs Michigan. UCF & Georgia are both making claims that they belong in the playoffs so I think its dumb to see them matched up with teams who have 3 and 4 losses.

Understand your point but the highest seeded SEC team not in the playoffs is tied to the Sugar Bowl and the same can be said about the Big 12 conference as well they’re tied to the Sugar Bowl..

They played people, didn’t duck anyone.

Thought they duck us. Didn't Nebraska offer them a three game deal and they said no. I believe it was two home and one neutral. The neutral was based on their stadium being too small to bring home the bacon.

Not that it matters but I’d like to know that answer as well...

Doubt Bobby Bowden worried about the money when he brought his Seminoles to Lincoln 4 times or so..
Back at that time money did matter plus the chance to be on tv was greater in Lincoln. We did 2-1 with Wyoming and paid them for their visits. Same situation for Florida UCF.

Husker fan, you’re making it real obvious you’re jealous of UCF.

Says the guy who is trolling on our board, because their board sucks just like their team. Hey, hope you enjoyed those wins, because that's coming to an end. Remember you weren't beating us because you got better, it's because we sunk too your level, now we are on the rise again.

I'd call Iowa a has been, but they've never been, so we will just refer to them as never was. GO BACK TO YOUR BOARD CUCKEYE!

They did, then said Nebraska ducked to play them there.
