Not a good half but they did cool down. Maybe we can make some adjustments and come out and attack them.
Shoot. This defense doesn’t work against teams who hit from outside.
We’re 4-7 from 3. Usually that’s going to be good enough to win but, today it’s just keeping us in the game.
If Joiner and Horne don’t take over offensively, we are quickly toast. And guard the outside shooters and make them take the two pointers inside.
Our offense is disjointed and Haith's rotations aren't helping.
Refs letting them play in the paint, Tulsa is going to have to toughen up. Need Jackson to be more aggressive with Rachal out to give us more balance.
Need better communication on the zone. Several of those wide open shots occurred because our wing slid to the top with out shading so the bottom could rotate up to the wing. Also saw three shots where the person responsible for the shooter pointed at him as if they expected another defender to rotate to the shooter.
Have to clean up our rebounding and defense. An aggressive start to the half is required. Smart offense at pace with extended defense would be a good way to get a quick run. Like to see our three quarters trap after made baskets and alternate falling back to man and zone. UCF has tendencies to be slow at adjusting to switches in game flow. Probably because of so many new players and the losses of key guards from last year.
Lots of game left but Tulsa needs to get on it. We can't afford any losses except to Wichita and Houston on the road and this conference is tough and improving.

After letting muggings under the basket go on in the first half they’re now calling tricky tacky stuff.
Drive kick, drive kick, drive kick, drive and have your worst driver take the shot. We’re just out of sync.
