I agree it’s waaay more than Reed. However, it was obvious that Smikle could compete against UAB bigs & Reed couldn’t. That’s on Konkol, not Reed.

I almost never post on game threads . I almost never call out any players on the free board. I will return to not posting. As my late mother said, if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything.

9-31 from the field. Other than Smikle’s 4-5, we’re 5-26. At one point we were 5-14 on layups. It’s tough watching this team. Let’s see if Konkol can get things turned around in the second half.

Either you fire him immediately to give an assistant the chance to turn it around or you ride it out as a lost cause. Thing is his assistants and him seem to be a package deal. I doubt they have an independent approach.

His first season was historic, it was one of the 3 or 4 worst seasons in the history of the AAC. Not 3 or 4 worst TU seasons, one of the 3 r 4 worst seasons by anyone in the AAC. That's going to be hard to beat. To do that twice in 3 years would probably be something that only 1 or no other team has ever accomplished. Just to put into perspective how other worldly bad we are.

Nothing about what I put is hypocritical listening to someone keep acting like TU is on their way to greatness when they are clearly horrible is annoying , which is why I said what I said , you have came off pissed today ever since people started bashing Reed ( which is deserved , not that he is the only one though ) so I don’t know why you are trying to be an *** to me

I don't think so. He played well in the interview. Knew all the right things to say.(because he's spent time here before) He fit the motif of the coach they'd love to have, except he can't coach. The wallpaper doesn't look so hot if you can't coach.

On a normal day, I can usually just ignore it, but seeing it every time for the last two years after anytime we get smoked gets extremely old and very annoying ( I know it’s stupid to get worked up over it ) but i just wasn’t having a good day in general being stuck in the house with Covid

Think you need to understand what being a hypocrite is, thinking what someone said is annoying and saying something is not hypocritical , it would be if I said something more along the lines of saying that and then writing something about how Konkol is about to turn things around ! you just said that I didn’t have to read it , so I said I can also say something as well, it’s really not that big of a deal , ( and yes, you are on an island with Reed, he’s terrible , probably a good kid , but not a good division 1 basketball player )

Konkol is a good man , but apparently he and the staff cannot recruit top talent and
keep them . Maybe his NIL budget doesn't allow him to pay off the one's with their
hands out for a big payday, but as it stands today they simply cannot compete in the
AAC .

I know most aren’t reading the GOI at the moment and that’s fine totally get it but our NET is now at 324. This matches our lowest point and unfortunately we will go lower. I like the dude but he needs to roll on

No one can be a good coach when there is very little talent on the bench . Does anyone think
Penny Hardaway is a good X's & O's coach ? They have the deep pockets to buy talent first and
foremost ...if they can pluck PJ Haggerty from Tulsa for $ 600,000.00 then what is the
aggregate total salary for the starting five ?
